1. The particles are fine. The fine particles did not make rolling burdensome. If you roll a bit too hard or get distracted and go over 1 minute, you may feel some irritation in spots. 1 minute or less, around 30-40 seconds, seems to be the right amount of time. (Photo 3) is the photo after application. 2. It does not clump up like dirt. Some scrub products clump up immediately even without much rubbing, but this product only has a slight clumping towards the end of rolling, giving the feeling of a proper scrubbing.
