Pros
It's great for dry skin. If you imagine a thick, Vaseline-like texture, you'll easily understand it. I've used it for several years and can't count how many jars I've gone through. Around last year, the lid changed to a red one, and the texture became just a tiny bit easier to apply. I have very dry skin. Those of you with dry skin all over your body will be very satisfied with this product.
Cons
The application can be a bit tricky. It's harder to apply when your skin is damp. You'll need to melt it with your body heat while applying. At first, it has a bit of a white, opaque look before it absorbs, but after rubbing it in or patting it a few times, it becomes nicely dewy.

Pros
I've heard a lot of good things about Eucerin, so I was curious and bought it to try. It did have a comforting, enveloping feeling on my skin.
Cons
The formula was quite thick, making it difficult to absorb into my skin. The sticky feeling also lingered for a while. Compared to how thick and sticky the formula is, the moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last very long.
Tip
I think it would be better to apply it to drier areas like elbows or knees rather than the face.:)

Even though I've tried all sorts of body oil creams since I have dry skin, this one is the best. I have severe atopy, and when I use just any product, it stings and gets dry quickly, but this one doesn't have any of those issues.
Cons
It's extremely rich, so if you don't spread it out well, it doesn't absorb properly. I buy shea butter directly and mix it in, and one jar lasts me through spring, fall, and winter. (laughs)
Tip
Mixing it with shea butter makes it spread more evenly and even more moisturizing.
