After using it, my skin feels refreshed and my complexion is improved. Compared to other cleansing waters (like Bioderma and Sensibio), I experienced less irritation. Sensibio, on the other hand, can feel like hell on the eyes when it gets in them. While this product can be used alone without additional water cleansing, I opted to do a water cleanse as well. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized!
ConsSince this is a water-based product, having to use cotton pads to remove it is quite inconvenient. However, I rarely use it that way (because it's too much of a hassle). Instead, I just dispense some onto my hands and gently rub it in, which was able to mostly remove the lip makeup I had just applied. I'm not sure why, but Caudalie seems to have trouble keeping their larger size products in stock, and they don't always restock them. I used the 100ml bottle, which was quite inconvenient for me.
TipApplying the product directly onto my hands, like using a cleansing foam, worked just fine without needing cotton pads. In fact, using cotton pads seemed to be more irritating.
