The cleansing power is quite disappointing.. Even though I did a double cleanse, I felt it fell short compared to other cleansing waters.

Hmm.. I'm not sure what the good points were. As someone with sensitive skin, the fact that nothing broke out on my skin when I used it would be about the extent of it.

You can also use it as a toner substitute. Instead of a full morning wash, you can just wipe your face down with this.

It's not the best for makeup cleansing - you'll need to use a separate eye makeup remover. The cleansing power isn't super strong.

It's gentle. You don't need to wash your face with water, and it doesn't leave any residue. When I'm too lazy to wash my face in the morning, I can just wipe it down with this and it's fine.

Since it's a gentle product, I have to use an eye makeup remover separately and then cleanse with a foam cleanser afterwards. It's a bit of a hassle, but I have to do it since I have sensitive skin.


I have sensitive skin, so if I use the wrong product, my face can feel hot and flushed. But with this product, I don't experience any itchiness, flushing, or redness after use, and my face feels moisturized - which means it's very gentle.


Double cleansing is necessary. While some say you can just use the cleansing water and go to bed, I still feel a bit unsatisfied. Since I'm already washing my face, I might as well do it one more time.

In fact, using cotton pads seemed to be more irritating.

 Since this is a water-based product, having to use cotton pads to remove it is quite inconvenient.
However, I rarely use it that way (because it's too much of a hassle).
Instead, I just dispense some onto my hands and gently rub it in, which was able to mostly remove the lip makeup I had just applied.

I'm not sure why, but Caudalie seems to have trouble keeping their larger size products in stock, and they don't always restock them.
I used the 100ml bottle, which was quite inconvenient for me.

 This product may be polarizing, but I really enjoy the scent of this Caudalie product.
After using it, my skin feels refreshed and my complexion is improved.
Compared to other cleansing waters (like Bioderma and Sensibio), I experienced less irritation.
Sensibio, on the other hand, can feel like hell on the eyes when it gets in them.
While this product can be used alone without additional water cleansing, I opted to do a water cleanse as well. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized!
