I have sensitive, combination skin. I highly recommend this product! I've tried expensive Na* products, but this one is so much better! 1. Absorption: The formula is quite fluid, making it perfect to mix with foundation. I always blend them together. It gives such a beautiful, subtle glow to the face. 2. Hydrating: Although I have combination skin, it always feels dry (maybe it's combination dehydrated?). I often look for hydrating products, and this one applies so nicely and moisturizing. 3. Price: The price is fantastic! I bought it online, so it was affordable with a generous amount. It'll definitely last a long time. I use it every day! 4. Longevity: It seems to last quite well. I'm not sure if it's because of my long-lasting foundation, but I only need to touch up if I have evening plans. It's a shame this product has been discontinued. I can't understand why they would discontinue it. I mix it with a matte foundation, which might be why my makeup lasts so long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 13, 2018
It does give a glow, but it's not particularly pretty. I think the Jung Saem Mool cream is better. There seem to be quite a few ingredients that aren't great. It does give a glow, but when it breaks down, it seems to cause darkening. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 21, 2018
It was just okay. It gives a bit of a glow... but feels a bit pricey for what it is. The price is way too high, and cheaper products from other brands work much better, so I stopped using it. - go********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 3, 2018
Convenient travel-size and not a powder, so no worries about breakage. Can be applied with fingers, no need for a separate brush. Great value for the amount, and a little goes a long way. The pearl has a pinkish-apricot tone that blends beautifully with blush on the cheeks, creating a natural, lively look with a touch of sophistication. The Dewy Face Glow seems to be from the same line, but it's a balm type. Since the balm type isn't registered on Hwahae, I'm cautiously writing this review under the liquid type. I really wanted to review the balm type, especially its downsides. It doesn't apply evenly and tends to clump. Applying over foundation removes the base. The texture is like a cream eyeshadow, making it difficult to spread the pearls evenly if you apply too much, and it feels heavy. The application is quite thick. I used it without foundation, paired with Laneige Water Glow, and it seems okay with concealer. Laneige concealer also has a dewy glow effect, but adding this balm's pearl glow makes it look a bit excessive. Like a chameleon, but more shimmery! Staying power is about 5 hours. Rather than applying with fingers, using a flat foundation brush with a light touch works better for a nice glow. It's quite waxy, so pressing too hard causes it to stick in clumps, creating patchy areas. The texture isn't easy to work with. I've had this product for about 4 months, but honestly, it's challenging to apply beautifully, so I don't reach for it often. The pearls are pretty, though... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2018
It's fine to use a small amount just on the areas you want. It looks natural. The subtle, natural shimmer can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 29, 2017
This pink-based illuminator stays true to its purpose. While I couldn't really feel its effectiveness as a primer, it still gave a beautiful pink sparkle even after applying Espoir foundation in Ivory Pure on top. The scent... it smells like some kind of ointment. I don't think I can continue using it because of the smell. Pink-based and dewy looks aren't really trendy these days... I actually prefer Espoir's Spot Pink Base, which I'm using happily. Just making a note to remember this, in case I forget and accidentally buy it again - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 24, 2017
I started using this product after trying a sample, and it's perfect for all seasons except summer. Personally, I liked it even more than MAC Strobe Cream. However, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich... The glass container makes it inconvenient to carry while traveling If you have good skin texture, you can mix it with your foundation. Alternatively, after applying foundation, gently pat it on your cheekbones and forehead for a beautiful glow - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2017
When I wanted to achieve a dewy, glowing makeup look, I used to use LANEIGE's Glowy Cream. However, after discovering it contained ingredients that triggered blemishes, including red spots and blisters on my skin, I started looking for an alternative and found this product. While the Glowy Cream might not have the best ingredients, it did make my skin look amazing when used as a base. Switching to this product, I noticed the glow effect is slightly less intense, but the pearl particles are fine and natural-looking. Most importantly, for a pearl-based product, it doesn't have an overpowering scent or irritating application. With other famous glow products like Guerlain, I could feel the grittiness of the particles and the scent was so strong it felt like I was applying my dad's aftershave. 20ml for over $20 is just too much. Even during a sale, I paid $16 for it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2017
Subtle glow. Great product for achieving an all-over radiance that looks natural and not overdone. My dorm roommates kept recommending it to each other, so I decided to give it a try. It definitely lives up to the hype. The price point. For those who don't wear makeup daily, a smaller container at a lower price might be better. Cosmetics tend to deteriorate over time, and using more product doesn't necessarily mean better results in this case. It works well mixed with foundation or BB cream. For cushion compacts, apply this after your base makeup and coverage, then lightly pat the cushion over it. As time passes, you'll notice a beautiful glow emerging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 10, 2017
This highlighter is absolutely fantastic! As someone with dry skin, I often find powder highlighters can look a bit patchy, but this liquid formula is a game-changer. It blends seamlessly without any patchiness, giving me that perfect glow. While it's often recommended to mix this with foundation or apply it before foundation, I didn't really notice much difference doing that. In my opinion, it works better when applied after foundation, just on the areas where you want that extra highlight.
