As someone with combination dehydrated skin that produces a lot of oil, I absolutely loved how this made my skin matte. I'll definitely be repurchasing it! When my skin barrier was compromised, I noticed a very slight tightness in my cheeks. I only use other products when my skin barrier is damaged.

It absorbs well and seems to have a nice application. The product glides on smoothly and sinks into the skin effortlessly. When applied to areas where I've extracted acne, it stings quite a bit. As a cream for oily skin, it seems to provide just the right amount of hydration and helps control sebum. The scent and how it absorbs are perfectly fine, nothing extraordinary but does the job. My skin tends to get flaky when it's dry, but this product helps control those dead skin cells. I usually dislike sticky textures, but after applying this, my skin feels so fresh and light as if I hadn't applied anything at all. It's really great! The price is a bit steep, I'll admit. The application was nice - it felt moisturizing at first and then quickly absorbed into the skin. I was hoping for some blemish-calming effects, but it felt more irritating and didn't seem to do much overall...
