A small amount produces a lot of lather, leaving hair feeling refreshed after shampooing. The rose scent is a mood-lifter! While it's on the pricier side, it's such a quality product that I'm struggling to find any real drawbacks. For best results, thoroughly wet your hair before use - this will help create an even richer lather. - ma**********Combination SkinNov 15, 2018
It doesn't rinse out as quickly, which is great! And compared to other Kérastase shampoos, it lathers up really well, which I loved. Strangely, after washing my hair with this, my scalp has an odd smell. It's a bit disappointing. - am******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 7, 2018
Even just using the Bain Chromatique (shampoo) seems to make my hair softer. It appears to be beneficial for color-treated hair! The fragrance feels a bit overpowering. While it's subjective, to me it comes across as a strong, almost nauseating scent. And then there's the price... As of late December 2017, the lowest online price was 45,000 won. But more concerning... the ingredients are just... The number of potential allergens is astounding. I used it believing it was made from 100% natural ingredients, but within an hour, I could smell my own hair to the point of discomfort. Compared to that, I suppose... sigh. But really, the ingredient list is just too much. I'm using the entire Kérastase line for color-treated hair. This includes the Bain Chromatique Riche (1000ml shampoo), Touche Chromatique (hair tint in red), Masque Chromatique (500ml hair mask), and Fluide Chromatique (125ml essence). With other products, even on days when I only shampooed, my hair would get so oily that I wouldn't dare use conditioner or hair masks. However, with the full Kérastase color-treated hair line, I can use it daily without it becoming oily. I especially appreciate that it doesn't cause any allergic reactions where the ends of my hair touch my skin. - sk**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2018
Less color fading after dyeing Lathers well Hair feels somewhat soft even without conditioner after shampooing Scalp cleansing effectiveness feels slightly lacking If you don't wet your hair thoroughly and scrub diligently, you might notice a scalp odor at the nape of your neck Using this after a full-head dye job results in less color bleeding - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 6, 2016
I've bleached my hair three times, dyed it four times, and finished with a hair gloss treatment. The gloss has been maintaining its color for three months now. This product is unbeatable when it comes to preventing color fade. After washing, my hair feels incredibly smooth without any dryness or roughness. The biggest drawback is the steep price. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever. While using just the shampoo isn't bad for your hair, those with bleached locks should definitely use the treatment as well for best results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 6, 2016
I can feel my hair getting stronger. Once you use this, you can't go back to anything else. Well, I suppose the price might be an issue. But it seems pretty reasonable if you buy it online, don't you think? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 10, 2015
My hair seems to improve a bit just from using this shampoo. Even though I've damaged my hair from frequent coloring, using this line along with the treatment and occasional hair mask has made it feel soft and smooth. The biggest drawback would have to be the price. It's just too expensive! The Oleo Relax Oil Essence works great when applied only to the ends after blow-drying your hair about 80% of the way.
