  The texture is nice and it absorbs well, but since my skin doesn't agree with fermented ingredients, I've been dealing with blemishes for about 3 months. So now I'm using it on my feet...

  Cons

  If fermented ingredients don't suit you, always think carefully before using this. My skin condition worsened significantly after I used this product.

  My top pick for 7 years running. The absorption is on a whole different level compared to other brands' fermented essences. I only use a different aftershave product on days when I shave.

  I know it's a fermented essence, but still... the urine-like smell is honestly too much, isn't it?

  For best results, first apply with a cotton pad, then follow up with a second layer using your hands. The hydrating effect is so good you can skip your emulsion step.

  The absorption is pretty good. Most importantly, it clears up those pesky forehead bumps in just a week! Your complexion definitely brightens up. Of course, this is assuming you keep using the product consistently.

  Cons

  The scent is a bit peculiar, like fermented rice wine? It might be slightly irritating for sensitive skin, but most skin types should be able to handle it just fine. The price, though? Absolutely brutal (yikes!).
