Despite its functionality, it doesn't feel overly thick and the absorption is pretty good too. I have sensitive skin, and I've had issues with breakouts from other products (can't remember the names), but this one was fine. I highly recommend it for those over 30. The scent is nice, and what I love most is that the spatula is attached to the lid with a magnet, so I can just leave it next to my perfume bottle.
