It's a gel cleanser with a smooth, flowing texture. The foam lathers up nicely, creating soft, fluffy bubbles. After rinsing, your skin feels squeaky clean. It contains PEG and phenoxyethanol, along with a few other ingredients that may require caution. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDec 3, 2022
As someone with blemish-prone skin, I've used many Clinique products before. I had a sample of this product left at home, so I decided to give it a try. It has a slightly thick gel texture, but I was surprised by how well it lathered up. The foam was soft and fine, making it perfect for a gentle massage-like cleanse. Being winter and meant for oily skin, I was worried about potential dryness after use. However, I hardly felt any tightness after cleansing, and my skin felt soft to the touch. Lately, I've been at the peak of laziness, often rolling into bed without applying anything after cleansing. As time passed, I noticed more dryness compared to when I used my regular cleansing foam. While Clinique products generally have a gentle feel, I found some ingredients that require caution. Not all of them are bad, but I was a bit concerned about the PEGs. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - jo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2022
I have dry skin, but I used this considering it's summer. It worked well as a second cleanser without causing any blemishes. My skin feels moisturized even after cleansing. The price is on the higher side for a cleanser. Also, it might not provide that squeaky-clean feeling that those with oily skin might prefer. - 10********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2021
Excellent for morning cleansing and as a second step in removing makeup! I noticed a real difference in my skin texture. You'll feel the benefits with consistent use. Well... there's nothing particularly bad to mention... really nothing at all... For even better results, try using a pore brush or sonic cleansing device about three times a week - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2020
Gentle and non-irritating, which I loved. It's also fragrance-free. Great for second cleansing after removing makeup. My skin felt a bit tight right after cleansing... Slightly disappointing. It seems better to lather it in your hands first before applying to your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
This is my holy grail product! I've always struggled with chin acne due to uterine issues, but since using this, not only has my chin acne disappeared, but I don't even get pimples on my face anymore. It cleanses so well without any irritation, leaving my skin feeling fresh. I love it so much! Even with my super sensitive skin, it works perfectly for me! While the pump packaging is convenient, a small amount sometimes leaks out to the side when pumping, which is a bit wasteful. For those of you dealing with hormonal acne on your chin, give Clinique a try. My chin acne was so severe that I had to get inflammation injections at the dermatologist. It was bad on my cheeks too. But after discovering Clinique, my skin transformed - not only did the acne clear up, but I don't even get a single blemish anymore. Since using just this product didn't feel thorough enough for removing makeup, I switched to this routine: eye makeup remover, Bioderma cleansing water, Clinique cleanser, Clinique toner, and Clinique moisturizer. After that change, I saw the light! Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about enlarged pores once they've expanded... but I'm satisfied with being acne-free. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2020
1. Refreshing sensation There must be peppermint in the ingredients because it feels amazing after use... Actually, I fell in love with this feeling so much that I bought more sets when they were half-price. 2. Product size While the price might be an issue for some, the amount you get is fantastic! Honestly, compared to other brands (like Youth to the People? which costs over $40), it's not even that expensive. Plus, considering the large amount you get for a high-end product, I don't regret it. However, don't think it's as big as it seems - you need about a full pump to lather up with your hands. 3. Hydration I've tried other low pH cleansers, but this one seems better. I've really used all kinds of cleansers, from budget to high-end, but I've settled on this one... When I use it with my Foreo cleansing brush, it lathers well and leaves my skin so hydrated afterward. Even though I have dry skin with excess oil, this cleanser is perfect... It keeps my skin moisturized while also balancing oil. This is for combination-oily skin, but I'd like to compare it with the dry skin version... Considering it's a cleanser, the price of over $30 might be infuriating... If you have a friend living abroad, you might want to ask them for help. They're currently offering half-price sets online overseas (including skin and emulsion). Using a Foreo or mechanical cleanser helps create a lather with fewer pumps. (That's probably why I sometimes skip double cleansing when I'm not wearing eye makeup...) - 74****Dry SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
As a low pH cleansing foam, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, even though I have dry-leaning skin. I first received this as a sample when I bought skincare products from Clinique, and after using it on a trip and seeing how well it removed makeup, I decided to purchase the full size. It has a cooling effect when used, and after cleansing with this, I notice benefits like reduced deep dryness and skin soothing. I'm really enjoying using it. The price is quite steep, and while it is a cleansing product, it doesn't have strong cleansing effectiveness. It seems more suitable as a second-step cleanser. However, it's too expensive to use just for that purpose. When used as a second-step cleanser, it allows you to finish your cleansing routine without deep dryness, leaving your skin hydrated. - dj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 19, 2019
Leaves skin feeling moisturized even after use. Highly recommended for dry skin types. I usually don't use cleansing foams, but this one is so hydrating that I used it for double cleansing after oil cleansing. So moisturizing! Those with oily skin might find the slippery finish off-putting! - co*****Combination SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2019
I use this product after my cleansing water. It's so gentle yet leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. I've been loyal to this product for over a decade because I love how it makes my skin feel. It seems to be a product that people either love or hate. I've recommended it a lot, and while some friends have been using it for years, others say it doesn't leave their skin feeling as refreshed as they'd like, almost as if they hadn't cleansed properly. It's not strong enough to use as a standalone cleanser.
