It has a slightly runny texture, soft and moisturizing. It feels like applying an ointment. I bought a zinc cream because I heard it's good for acne, and I kept it. But the smell is strange, and the problem is that when I apply it, it gets streaky like an old sunscreen. It's only for nighttime use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2017
At first, I only used it a little bit, not knowing if it would work, so I stopped using it for a while. But then I started applying it heavily at night, and when I woke up, I could see that my skin had improved. Applying it heavily before bed and sleeping on it works well, especially for problem skin. Sometimes when I use it occasionally, it peels off like a mask. I'm not sure if this is due to flaky skin or something else. Just apply it heavily at night. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2016
I'm pleasantly surprised to see my skin gradually improving when I apply it at night and sleep. It gets washed off so quickly :( I absolutely can't apply it during the day :( I was surprised that all my makeup got washed off after I applied it. It's just perfect to apply it before going to bed at night. I think I should try it more. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2016
I was prescribed a medication for seborrheic dermatitis at the pharmacy, and the pharmacist recommended this product. I didn't really trust their recommendation, but I applied it anyway, and it turned out to be surprisingly good. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm not looking for it to dramatically improve my condition, but rather for it to be gentle and not exacerbate it. And that's exactly what I've experienced with this product. ㅜㅡㅜ Ugh... The major downside is that I can only use it at night. If I apply it before makeup, it just peels off and leaves a cakey residue... ㅜㅜㅜㅜ I can only use it at night. I don't know what to use during the day. ㅜㅜㅜ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2016
Applying this to areas where acne scars or pimples are about to appear and sleeping with it on is very helpful in reducing redness the next day and soothing the skin. After a month, you can see that the scars have faded significantly! You can just apply this essence before bed and it won't dry out your skin at all - it's personally a holy grail product for me. Even the slightest bit of moisture on the face causes it to flake off and peel like white scales... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2015
It is lighter and has better spreadability than Cicapair. Although it feels oily when applied, it is quickly absorbed and does not feel sticky. I'm not sure if it has to be used only alone. I applied a small amount of La Roche-Posay Effaclar K to the troubled area and then applied and patted Cera Ve. During this, a white powder-like substance was pushed out, similar to the feeling of the cream being pushed out that I experienced before. I don't want to give up on Effaclar K, so I think I need to look for another cream. It was said to provide moisture replenishment, so I bought it to use as the last step, but my cheeks feel very dry and itchy, so I applied it in two layers on my cheeks. Sigh, I should have just used Skagen. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2015
It's great for trouble spots! When I apply it at night and wake up, I can see that it has really calmed down a lot. The moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. It gets washed off quickly, so I can't apply makeup properly. Use it only at night.
