First off, it's gentle and I didn't feel like it was causing any blemishes to surface. Also, even though I have oily skin, it didn't feel overly greasy as I had expected. However, I think it would be much better to follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse. It feels like it doesn't completely wash off... Make sure to do a double cleanse! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2017
I got to try this as a sample, and the amount is really generous! It's very hydrating! I used it gently as a one-step cleanser, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who want to remove all their makeup in one go. Why? Because it doesn't cleanse thoroughly. You need to cleanse about twice to remove everything completely. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 26, 2017
This product seems gentle. I didn't experience any eye irritation or skin reactions. The cleansing power is not bad either. It removes eye liner, mascara, and lip products quite effectively. While this product is sufficient as a makeup remover, that's really all it excels at. You absolutely need to follow up with a second cleanse. It's not a one-step cleansing foam, and it's so oily that you might need to cleanse two or three times after using it. It's quite rich, but works well as a makeup remover. It's perfect if you follow up with another cleansing product two or three times. Rather than a pro tip, I'd say the truly great thing about this product is how gentle it is on the skin. - wk*********Combination SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2017
When rolling it on, it feels gentle and soft. Maybe it's because of the many natural plant-derived ingredients, but it gives an extra mild sensation! Personally, I feel the cleansing effectiveness is a bit lacking, so I use cleansing water after using oil. If you find it inconvenient to roll with dry hands, it might be a tad bothersome! I stock up on this during Olive Young sales! I think I've even bought it for around $9 before. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2017
I love how it has a subtle fragrance, feels gentle, and keeps my skin moisturized. It's like there's a lingering hydration on my skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I usually dislike the feeling of dead skin cells peeling off, but this doesn't do that. However, it doesn't seem to remove heavy makeup very well. I personally use micellar water to lightly cleanse first before using this. For those who wear light makeup, this might work well on its own. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinOct 12, 2016
The large volume seemed great when I bought it. It was nice up until the moment I opened the packaging and started using it. As others have mentioned, the oil really doesn't wash off... If you're looking for a cleansing oil that emulsifies and rinses clean with water, don't buy this product. You need to use a cleansing foam at least twice to barely get rid of the oily feeling. The oil residue on your hands even prevents the cleansing foam from lathering properly... As a result, I'm going through my cleansing foam at an alarming rate. Moreover, it doesn't rinse off well, leaving a constant residue that feels very uncomfortable. Highly recommended for those who absolutely love having a slippery oil residue left on their face. For those who prefer a cleansing oil that rinses clean with water after use, absolutely do not buy this. - c9*****Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2016
I love that the jasmine scent lingers. The cleansing effectiveness is just okay? I'm not sure since I don't wear heavy makeup, but it seems to remove everything well. I never understood when people said cleansing oils could feel stiff when applying, but now I get it after using this. It applies quite stiffly, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 24, 2015
The cleansing effectiveness is decent. There's no issue with makeup not being removed properly. The rolling sensation is satisfactory. It's not too thick or sticky, so you can easily wipe off your makeup with gentle circular motions. The price point is reasonable. I'm not sure why the ingredients are like this... Overall, with its mediocre and not-so-great ingredients, I probably won't repurchase this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2015
I stumbled upon this product while browsing Olive Young during a sale. Unlike the picture above, it comes in a pump bottle. My impression after using it? It's pretty decent. It removes makeup effectively without any fuss. This cleansing oil is great for removing makeup when your skin feels dry. Personally, I follow up with another cleanser after using this oil for a thorough cleanse. I'd definitely consider repurchasing it. Since I don't usually wear heavy makeup, I can't say how well it would work for removing intense looks. Checking the ingredients, I noticed about three potentially harmful components. If you're sensitive to certain ingredients, make sure to review the list before purchasing. This product works well for removing light makeup. Being an oil, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry, which is a plus. - hm****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2015
Among the cleansing oils I've tried, this is the gentlest and mildest for washing my face. I usually follow up with a foam cleanser. What I love most is that it doesn't sting even if it gets in my eyes. It's pretty effective at cleansing too. The price point is reasonable as well. It's best to use it according to the instructions. Instead of starting with wet hands, it's better to massage it onto dry skin first, then gradually add water as you cleanse. It's a great deal when you buy it on sale at Olive Young. I always make sure to stock up in advance!
