- Why discontinue this...? Etude, why...? - It's a game-changer for those with pore issues, so why discontinue it? I just realized it's been discontinued. - If I had to describe this product in one sentence, it's like a primer-essence hybrid. - Those of us with serious pore problems know the struggle of carefully applying sunscreen to avoid it settling into pores. This little hero took that worry away. - How good is it, you ask? I'm on my third bottle... It was perfect for light use even in summer. I'm honestly tearful about this. - Don't expect instant results (it's not a regenerating cream, after all). - Be careful: depending on how you use it, this holy grail can turn into a total dud. Pro tip: Apply in this order for amazing results - Skincare (essences, etc.) -> Wonder Pore (this product) -> Sunscreen -> Primer -> Makeup - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 5, 2016
I used it without any issues, but I'm not sure if it actually reduced my pores. I can't really tell if it's effective. The amount is small, and it doesn't seem to do much. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2015
This is great for tightening pores! After using a warming mask and cleansing, I finish with this and my face feels so refreshingly cool. It hardens as soon as you apply it. If you don't spread it evenly, it dries and peels off in white flakes, like dead skin. Keep it clean. Make sure to wipe it after use and store properly. It's a bit of extra effort. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 28, 2015
This is the holy grail... a real holy grail! Why on earth was it discontinued? Why don't people recognize this holy grail? Seriously... there's nothing better for sebum control. It's truly amazing! Even when I apply it in the morning, there's no shine when I come home in the evening. A real holy grail indeed...!!!! There are no downsides, none at all! Oh wait, there is one - the price per volume is outrageous.. It's so expensive that unless there's a buy-one-get-one-free deal, my hand trembles when reaching for it.... - ae****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJul 10, 2015
This is a product I'd definitely repurchase. It does an excellent job of controlling excess oil. I've noticed fewer blackheads on my nose, and my skin doesn't get that shiny, greasy look. Some say if you apply too much, it can leave a white residue and cause pilling. My routine is to apply toner first, then squeeze out a rice-grain sized amount of this product. I spread it thinly over problem areas like my nose, between my eyebrows, and around the nose. After that, I layer on other skincare products. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 22, 2015
When applied to areas with small blemishes on the forehead, you'll wake up the next morning with clearer skin. It feels pleasantly tingly and cool when applied. Even though it stings a bit when applied after popping a pimple, the burning sensation makes it feel like the blemishes are healing faster, which is great. After about 10 minutes of application, you can see white residue from the product itself. It's bothersome. It stings slightly when applied after popping a pimple. When the white residue appears, applying a hydrating cream or spritzing with a mist helps. (Don't think about applying it with your hands - they'll just get dirtier. Instead, apply the product directly to the affected area, as advised by an Etude House store employee.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMay 12, 2015
I have very dry skin and only used this in summer, but it's pretty decent! It leaves a white cast and clogs pores, causing a few blemishes to appear. It might work better if you apply small amounts to specific areas. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2015
Hmm... I'm not sure about the good points, but it does feel refreshing when applied...?? I applied it diligently, but I didn't see any results. Areas where I applied too much left white residue that needed to be wiped off, and sometimes it made my skin tingle uncomfortably. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 6, 2015
It feels refreshingly cool as soon as you apply it and instantly controls excess sebum, which is great. I use it as a primer substitute when doing light makeup. Even after applying makeup, it seems to reduce oil production. I think it's good value for the price! Although it's designed to be applied directly from the tube without using your hands, the nozzle keeps scratching my face, so I just end up spreading it with my fingers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 28, 2015
It seems to do a great job at removing excess oil. As soon as you apply it, your skin feels soft and smooth! There's no noticeable effect... It feels like a rather ambiguous product.
