First off, the scent is totally tangerine! It's like... tangerine peel? So it's the epitome of freshness! Every time I spray it, it feels like I'm spritzing real fruit juice. It was especially nice and crisp for summer! The longevity is... way too short, unfortunately. The scent is really nice, but it disappears almost as soon as you turn around after spraying it. I feel like Febreze might last longer... There are times when I wonder if this is even a perfume at all! - od*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 14, 2019
It smells just like freshly zested oranges. The moment you spray it, your mood instantly lifts and you feel refreshed. Being a citrus fragrance, it fades incredibly fast. I mean, it disappears at lightning speed... When it comes to longevity, even a one-star rating seems generous. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2019
The citrusy top note followed by a sweet scent that hits just right is totally my jam! I also love how the woody base note subtly lingers at the end. The longevity is... 5 minutes? I bought this when I was just getting into fragrances, without much knowledge, simply based on what appealed to me. I later learned that citrus scents generally have poor staying power, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. At least I saved some money by purchasing it in Japan. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2018
I bought a spray perfume and it's the closest citrus scent I've been looking for all this time! I absolutely adore the smell of tangerine peel, orange peel, grapefruit peel, and lemon peel. I love it so much that I even make my own lemon preserves and eat the lemon peel. This fragrance is the closest to those scents - it's incredibly fresh! When I spritz it on before bed, it's so refreshing... It really puts me in a good mood. The staying power is questionable. It barely lasts 10 minutes, if that. However, the scent itself is totally my cup of tea... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2018
I purchased this at a store in Japan! Lush has such a wide variety of perfumes with beautiful names, it was quite a challenge to choose. It was my first time buying this type of perfume from Lush, so I spent a lot of time smelling the different scents. Many Lush fragrances are quite strong, and since I prefer subtle scents, my options narrowed down quickly. I asked the sales associate to recommend something with cherry blossom or citrus notes, and she suggested this Sun perfume! When I tested it, I immediately recognized the familiar scent of orange peel. It was an instant decision for me! It truly smells like fresh orange peel, without any artificial notes. The only downside is that, being a perfume, the longevity is a bit disappointing. While it doesn't disappear immediately after application, the staying power is somewhat lacking for a perfume. - jh***Oily SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2017
If you love citrus scents, you absolutely must buy this! It's not an artificial or headache-inducing fragrance, but rather smells like someone is peeling a tangerine right next to you. The longevity seems to be less than an hour... However, this is typical for most citrus fragrances, so keep that in mind. I mix it with Lush's Vanillary solid perfume, which improves the staying power. The combination with Vanillary creates a different charm compared to wearing it alone! A Lush store employee also let me sample a mix of Karma and Sun, which was lovely! - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 8, 2017
I was sold on this fragrance at the store when they described it as reminiscent of tangerines from Jeju's meadows. It's a perfume I'd love to recommend to those who enjoy fresh, zesty scents! The fragrance is absolutely delightful. It's like orange? Tangerine? Maybe even a hint of yuzu? It's as if they've compressed pure freshness into a liquid form. Originally, I went to buy Vanillary to match my hand cream's scent, but I ended up bringing this little gem home instead. It's lovely to keep in your purse as it releases a subtle citrusy aroma. I usually dislike perfume smells, but this one doesn't give me a headache at all, so I truly recommend it! At first, the alcohol scent is quite strong, which might make you go 'ugh', but after a short while, the fragrance settles into a pleasant aroma. The longevity is about 3 hours. Also, it's a bit tricky to control the amount of perfume you apply. For longer-lasting fragrance, try applying a dab of Vaseline to your wrist before spraying the perfume. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 16, 2017
The fresh orange scent was perfect for me since I'm not a fan of strong fragrances! Unfortunately, the scent doesn't seem to last very long, and it's quite pricey too... Lush perfumes seem to work best when layered with other fragrances! I like to apply a slightly heavier scent first, then layer this one on top for a finishing touch. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2016
Even though I'm not a big fan of citrus scents, this one feels like it's made from freshly squeezed tangerines and oranges. It doesn't have that artificial vibe, and I love how subtle it is. When applied to the skin, there's a beautiful, subtle shimmer too... considering it's a solid perfume. The longevity... it's like it's just checking in. The scent barely lingers on my body. At most, it lasts 20 minutes? Being generous, maybe 30 minutes... sigh... ...If you carry it with you and reapply every 20 minutes, you can maintain that fresh zesty scent consistently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 4, 2015
The scent is truly orange. Not just orange-scented, but pure orange. It's like spraying an actual orange on your body. This is why I love Lush. The price!!!! Of course, fragrances from other brands are expensive too, but this somehow feels even pricier... I bought the smallest size and it still cost over $20, if I remember correctly...
