I only use a small amount daily, but it's more effective than the expensive cleansers! I'm anxiously hoarding it in case it gets discontinued. It lathers up well, and the granules are not too harsh, so for those who are concerned about the exfoliating particles, I recommend working the lather thoroughly in your hands before using it.
ConsI didn't know, but it seems to have PEG ingredients, which is a red flag. It's like a hidden gem that's not very popular, so I'm worried it might get discontinued.
TipOn the contrary, I use it daily and really like it. I just make sure to do a thorough makeup cleansing step beforehand and only use a small amount to work up a good lather.

Chemical exfoliation is less irritating to the skin compared to scrubbing with granules, so I've been using it consistently for the past 5 years since my 20s. After exfoliating, my skin becomes smoother and more radiant than even after using a typical face mask.
ConsThe method of use is important. I use the exfoliating product once a week, but you absolutely should not use it daily. A small amount is sufficient to effectively remove dead skin, so if you pour out a lot and rub it all over your face, your face will sting like the reviews you mentioned.
TipUse the exfoliating product about once a week on a thoroughly cleansed face. Dispense an amount the size of a soybean, mix it with a bit of water in your hands to dissolve it, then start by massaging it onto your nose where you have a lot of blackheads. Gradually work it into areas with more dead skin, then areas with less. If you massage for too long, it will start to irritate the actual skin, not just the dead skin, and it will start to sting, so don't massage for too long - just about 2 minutes is enough. Even so, the effects are still sufficient!
