I've been using this consistently for about 3 years. I only use a small amount daily, but it's more effective than expensive cleansers! I'm stockpiling it, worried it might be discontinued. It lathers well, so for those concerned about the granules being too harsh, try rubbing it between your hands until it's fully foamed before applying - that should work well! I didn't realize it, but the PEG ingredient is a red flag. It's a hidden gem that's not very popular, so I'm anxious it might be discontinued. Actually, I find it works well with daily use. I make sure to thoroughly remove my makeup first, then use just a small amount to create a lather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinJul 29, 2015
Incredible for dead skin cell removal and blackhead elimination! Chemical exfoliation is less irritating to the skin than physical scrubs with granules. That's why I've been using this consistently for 5 years since I was 20. After exfoliating, my skin feels softer and smoother than after most masks, and my complexion brightens up too! The application method is crucial. I use it once a week for exfoliation, but it's absolutely not for daily use. A tiny amount is sufficient for effective dead skin cell removal. If you apply too much all over your face, you'll end up with irritation like some reviewers have mentioned. Use it as an exfoliator about once a week on a clean face. Dispense a pea-sized amount and dissolve it with a bit of water on your hands. Start by gently massaging areas with more blackheads like the nose, then gradually work on areas with more dead skin cells to less affected areas. Don't massage for too long as it can irritate not just dead skin cells but your actual skin, causing a tingling sensation. Rinse off quickly (about 2 minutes). Even with this short time, it's still very effective! - cl********Normal SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2015
It effectively removes dead skin cells and provides a deep cleanse as promised. The baking soda really helps to thoroughly clean the skin. After washing, my skin feels smooth and refreshed! It also contains papain enzyme. You'll need to rinse several times to ensure no residue is left behind. Hmm... that's about the only drawback. Make sure to close the lid tightly to prevent powder from caking around the opening. Try mixing a bit of this with your liquid cleanser and massage it in - it works wonders! For best results, open your pores with a warm towel first, then use this as a scrub. It's great for removing blackheads too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2015
What I loved about this product is how it makes my face feel incredibly soft after use. It also seems to have slightly reduced my sebum production. First off, the price was a bit steep for me. While using it daily didn't yield significant results, I tried using it twice a week, but even then the effects seemed temporary. I wouldn't really recommend it.
