I have combination skin. I bought this product when I was struggling with a sudden breakout of blemishes. After trying a sample from the site and finding it good, I ordered the full size. I've gone through about two tubes now. It's been effective for me, both for pores and overall blemish control. I tend to avoid cream types that you scoop out, as I worry about contamination. But that's just my personal preference. Other than that, I didn't really find anything disappointing about it. The way it absorbs is so gentle and gives a deeply moisturizing feeling. The scent isn't bad either. I used it with high hopes. It seems this product and I were completely incompatible. I developed blemishes so severely, it's unbelievable. My face transformed into something resembling snake skin. This truly taught me that not every cosmetic works for everyone... I tried a sample from their website, paying only for shipping, before deciding to buy the full product. It's great that you can test it out first. After applying, my skin felt incredibly soft. I bought it after seeing a YouTuber recommend it. As someone with acne-prone combination skin, this product felt too heavy for me. It seemed fine when I used the sample for a few days, but after buying the full size and using it consistently, I noticed small bumps appearing. The most disappointing part was discovering that both the Zymogen Houttuynia Cordata Serum and Fermented Cream contain ethanol. I was let down by some of the ingredients. It's packed with hydration and nourishment, leaving your skin incredibly moisturized and plump when applied. It also creates a smooth canvas for makeup and gives your skin a silky-smooth feel. I didn't really notice any improvement in blemishes as claimed. This is closer to a moisturizer than a regenerating cream. It's fantastic for those who don't have sensitive skin! I have sensitive skin and get a few adult blemishes. It's not great for pustular acne and doesn't work well for sensitive skin prone to breakouts. You can spread it on without using a cotton pad.

It gives me such a beautiful glow when I apply makeup in the morning - absolutely fantastic! The price is a bit wicked, I'm afraid. I'd love to use it liberally, but the cost makes me hesitate. My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth the day after using this! As I have oily skin, I only apply it in the evening. I highly, highly recommend it! There's nothing bad to say! My holy grail. After using this, I've been asked countless times if I've had a skin treatment because my skin looks so much better. I have dry skin, and most moisturizers leave me feeling parched right after application due to lack of hydration and oils. But this one is amazing! I highly recommend using it consistently for at least six months. However, the price point is a bit... I was worried it might be too oily, but it's just the right amount of hydration. I'm using it with a serum, and it definitely helps calm my blemishes faster. I wish it came in a tube instead of a jar!
