Generous amount of product and the puff is nice and large. It doesn't leave a white cast and I found it really useful and effective. The price point isn't competitive, and the case is too big to carry around easily, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2016
As someone with oily skin, powder is a must after makeup. This product is lightweight yet sets makeup well, so I've been using it consistently! This product works better when applied with a brush rather than patting with a puff. It would be even better if it came with a built-in brush! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2016
I absolutely love this product! Applying it just once in the morning keeps my makeup intact until late in the evening. It's fantastic! I also dab a little around my eyes before doing my eye makeup, and it prevents any smudging. So impressed! The price is a bit steep, but considering how long it lasts, I'd say it's worth it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 19, 2016
As someone with combination skin, I've always needed powder. This one is even better than regular compacts because it adheres to the skin more effectively. Being a powder, it can be a bit drying. I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin... - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 4, 2016
Wow, this is a must-buy! From the moment you apply it, it's like saying goodbye to excess oil. Your makeup stays on so much longer with this. Since my mom works for Hera, I've had the chance to use it quite often. Among all the powders I've tried, this one's the absolute best! For me, while it's good overall, there's a slight feeling of heaviness when applied. It's as if the makeup becomes a bit thick or cakey. Use it with a brush for best results. - su******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 14, 2015
I use this to set my makeup after applying cushion foundation, and it's great even for my sensitive skin - no blemishes at all! I was worried because I previously used a white powder compact from another brand to control oil, but it caused an acne breakout on my forehead and nose. Thankfully, this one doesn't cause any skin issues. It doesn't feel heavy, and it's easy to touch up. Even without reapplying foundation, just brushing this on makes my face look bright again! Like most loose powders, it can be a bit inconvenient to use. Just a light tap releases a lot of powder... it's tricky. The powder holes seem larger than usual, maybe because the case is bigger than typical loose powders. Instead of using the included puff, I recommend buying a separate powder brush. Lightly sweeping it on prevents caking of your foundation and applies evenly. I brush it all over my face once, then again on my T-zone since I have combination skin. It keeps my skin matte for about 3-4 hours! Oh, and the case now has a glossy pink lid - the image on the Hwahae app must be the old packaging. It seems they've done a redesign at some point! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2015
As someone with combination skin, using just cushion foundation makes my hair stick to my face, and over time, oil builds up. That's why I always use powder. Instead of applying it all over, I use the Soft Layer Powder on my contours and nose. It gives a velvety finish and creates a soft-focus effect, like a gentle blur. The staying power is great too! While it's good for people with combination skin as it controls oil, those with dry skin might find it too drying. It's best to use a small amount, focusing on the facial contours and bridge of the nose. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 18, 2015
It doesn't make my skin oily and helps makeup adhere well. It doesn't leave my skin looking cakey. There might be a bit of excess powder. The puff isn't particularly luxurious, but it's okay. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 24, 2014
This product is so amazing, I wonder why it's not more well-known. It's truly exceptional. Just one sweep over your face, and your makeup won't budge at all. I can guarantee you won't regret purchasing it. Due to its coating powder formula, when touching up, it can slightly clump if you layer liquid products (like foundation) over it instead of other powder types (loose powder or powder compact). Also, some might find the scent a bit odd, but I'm not particularly sensitive to that, so I used it without issues. I can't speak for other Hera products, but I highly recommend trying this one. Instead of using the included puff, it's better to apply it with a brush. Evenly coat the brush, tap off the excess, then lightly apply it focusing on the T-zone. The built-in puff has a velvet texture, so it's probably best just to use it as a cover.
