  Pros

  I'm on my third bottle and still very satisfied. When applied to wet hair, even a generous amount dries smoothly without clumping (though this might be due to my severely damaged hair). I usually pump it about four times. While it doesn't give an intense shine, I love how it calms my hair without being overwhelming.

  Cons

  Towards the end of the bottle, I turn it upside down to use the remaining product. However, the shape of the container makes it difficult for the oil to flow towards the opening, making it challenging to use up completely.

  Tip

  Use on wet hair. It absorbs evenly and smoothly without leaving any residue.

  Pros

  When you have straight hair and only the ends are damaged from coloring or perming, applying this just to the tips makes them adequately soft. It's on the heavier side, similar to a silk therapy, which helps calm frizzy hair.

  Cons

  After bleaching twice and coloring, I realized this is indeed a silicone-based product. As someone who needs to apply it all over, not just the ends, the essence is too sticky and heavy. The ingredients aren't great either. Even though my hair isn't particularly thick and only reaches between my shoulders and chest, no matter how many pumps I use, it just feels heavy with minimal effect. It's so sticky that it clumps together, and I only feel like it's smoother when I'm struggling to brush through it, as if I've added a lubricant.

  Pros

  It absorbs well with a lightweight feel. There's a gentle, non-irritating sensation. Surprisingly, it helped my often-tangled color-treated hair quite a bit. The container is sturdy and comes in an elegant brown glass bottle that looks rather high-end.

  Cons

  The product's strength is also its weakness - it applies very lightly. Because of this, when my hair was damaged, I found myself looking for something stronger and richer.

  Tip

  I remember getting it on a buy-one-get-one-free deal, which was a great bargain. It seems like this product goes on sale quite frequently.

  Pros

  As someone with permed hair, it tends to get frizzy after washing, but this essence calms it down nicely. I love that I can apply multiple layers without it getting sticky or clumpy.

  Cons

  I didn't have any issues while using it and loved it so much that I was planning to repurchase. However, after checking the ingredients list, I'll need to reconsider. My daughter and I have been using it together.

  This product was first recommended to me at the salon, and after using it, my hair became incredibly soft and the fragrance was absolutely delightful.

  Cons

  The only downside is that it leaves quite an oily residue on your hands, which can feel a bit uncomfortable even after washing. Apart from that, it seems to be an excellent product.

  Tamed my frizzy hair after getting a perm. Since using this, people have been showering me with compliments on how well-managed my hair looks.

  Cons

  I was concerned about the ingredient list, and sure enough, there's fragrance... ugh. I'm about 5 bottles in, but I'm considering switching to something safer.
