My holy grail night cream for over 4 years. While I've struggled to settle on a day cream, I've been loyal to this night cream since I first tried it. Here's why I love it: 1. Nourishment I have combination skin leaning towards normal. When I apply this before bed, I wake up to skin that feels plump and firm. It's similar to using a propolis or honey ampoule, but with longer-lasting effects and superior elasticity. This cream truly embodies what a nourishing product should feel like (though that's my subjective opinion). Unlike some heavy creams, it doesn't feel greasy or leave a slick, oily residue. It worked well when my skin was more combination-oily a few years ago, and it's still perfect now. As I age and my skin becomes drier, I might add a drop or two of facial oil. That's how versatile and long-lasting this product is. I'm so grateful that Nuxe keeps this as part of their ongoing line! 2. Texture and Application Some rich creams can be too thick, making them difficult to spread. This one has a relatively light, smooth texture that glides on easily. It's especially great for those nights when you want extra care but can't be bothered with multiple steps - you can easily mix in an ampoule or oil without any pilling. It's just part of its unique formulation. This might be the longest-standing product in my skincare routine. It satisfies every expectation I have for a night cream. I love it so much that it's hard to explain rationally and logically! There's honestly nothing I dislike about this product. If I had to nitpick, the jar packaging could be seen as a downside, but I suspect the texture wouldn't work well in a tube or pump. Also, it can feel a bit heavy on my skin in summer, so I either skip it or apply a very thin layer during the hottest months. 1. Hygiene Tips The product comes in a jar with a protective foil seal. To maintain hygiene and minimize air exposure, I have a little trick: I tap the jar on one side to gather the product in one corner, then only peel back a small portion of the seal to use it. It's a bit fussy to lift and replace the seal each time, but since the product is preservative-free with a short shelf life after opening (6 months), I think it's worth the extra care. 2. Purchasing Tips In Korea, this cream retails for about 40,000 won. However, it's much cheaper in Europe. When I traveled there 3 years ago, I found it at Monge Pharmacy for nearly half price or less. I stocked up on three jars and only wish I could have bought more, if not for the expiration date. If you're traveling to Europe or using European cosmetics direct purchase sites, you can get it much cheaper than the Korean retail price. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2017
The Lux product is my favorite. First of all, I'm satisfied because there are no skin troubles. I use the moisturizer from Dalpang and Remu, and I apply it at night when I want to add more nourishment. There's no greasiness, it's nicely moisturizing and plump, and the dryness has disappeared. When I wake up in the morning, my face used to feel tight, but that's no longer the case - it suits me gently. I'm happy to have found another holy grail product. I've heard that the day cream from the same line is not that great, so I haven't tried it. But the night cream is very satisfactory, so sometimes when I don't wear makeup, I use the night cream even during the day. It doesn't feel heavy, and there's no major issue, but those with oily skin may not like the formula. Still, it has a fresher feel compared to other night creams. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2016
It feels incredibly bouncy and plump as soon as I apply it~~~~ I feel like it has less moisture and a slightly stronger scent~~~ - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2016
This is my holy grail cream. I used the Creme Fraiche dry skin cream for 5 years starting from when I was 21, and then switched to this one, which is also great! It really shines in the winter. When I apply this in the winter, my skin doesn't feel dry or cracked, and it stays moisturized :) It feels like a protective layer has been applied, with a smooth, velvety surface, but when you press on the skin, you can still feel the moisture. I highly recommend this as a must-have for those with dry skin!!! Unlike other Nuxe creams, there is no greasy residue and it has a rich, creamy texture. If you're not used to the fragrance, it can be a bit overwhelming at first. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2016
I bought the Eucerin Filler Night Cream because I heard it was good, and they gave me a sample to try. In the end, I found this product fits me much better. It's much more dense and less oily, and the moisturizing effect lasts longer than Eucerin. With Eucerin, I felt like it would slip and there was a slightly itchy feeling with oil buildup around my nose and chin, but this product doesn't do that at all. In fact, the more I layer it, the firmer my skin feels. So I ended up buying another full-size product of this. The scent... it's not a bad scent, but it's quite strong. Sensitive people might find it gives them a headache. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2016
I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, but this cream is truly amazing. It's so rich and moisturizing that even regular moisturizers get absorbed within an hour, but this one keeps my skin hydrated until the next morning's wash. Creams with this much oil content usually cause breakouts, but this one doesn't - it's fantastic! This is a holy grail product, just like Physiogel, Uriage, and Nuxe. The only downside is that it might be a bit pricey for a student, but other than that, it's absolutely amazing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2016
It makes my skin feel so moisturized and plump!! I think this is a holy grail product!!! I used to have acne on my face, but after using this, it all disappeared~ The downside is that since it's an imported product, the price is quite high in Korea... I found that applying just a pea-sized amount is sufficient ㅎㅎ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2015
After turning 25, my suddenly dry face wasn't helped by anything I tried, but this is so wonderfully plump and moisturizing. My skin feels so soft and smooth the next morning~ This might be too heavy for oily skin types. I'd recommend it for dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 9, 2015
My skin is dry, but this cream is so rich that I only apply a small amount after using a moisturizer! Just a little bit makes my face feel hydrated and supple. I don't have any particular issues. However, since it's quite rich, I would recommend using a small amount, especially if you have blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2015
It has a sticky, tacky feel rather than a watery one, and good moisture content. I'd recommend it more for dry skin types than oily skin. For oily skin types, it can be quite greasy. I'd recommend it more for dry skin. And if you don't like a heavy, sticky feel on your face, this may not be the best option.
