The fragrance is lovely, and I've never experienced any blemishes from it. I used it religiously morning and night for five years, so I'm really disappointed it's been discontinued. It worked so well with my makeup that many people thought I naturally had good skin. After it was discontinued, I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and found nothing harmful. It was truly my holy grail night cream! It's such a shame it's been discontinued. For me, it was the perfect cream. Recommended for those in their 30s with dry skin, thanks to its balanced richness that provides just the right amount of moisture. - wh*********Oily SkinSep 28, 2019
It really delivers on hydration. That's honestly its only true strength. Wow... I can't tell if it's insane hydration or just pure grease lasting until morning. My skin is naturally oily, but this is too much to handle. It seems like this is only suitable for those who desperately need a hydration and oil bomb. - so*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2019
I got this recommended at Lohb's and started using it. There's nothing quite like it as a night cream! In winter, I apply a small amount before makeup and it's fantastic. It has a unique scent, almost like honey - I love it! It feels so healing. In winter, my dry skin feels like it's about to crack, but when I slather this on at night, I wake up with a glowing complexion. The price... it's really, really, really expensive. Isn't it a bit much? In summer, you need to apply just a tiny amount. You might want to only use it on your cheeks, otherwise you'll end up looking like an oil slick. I sometimes layer it with other products, and at night I apply it generously. When I wash my face in the morning after using it, my skin feels amazing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2019
The thick texture has a strong scent that hits your nose. I bought it after trying a sample. Unlike when I used the sample, it feels heavy on my skin and I don't find myself reaching for it often. - ys*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 10, 2019
I absolutely adore this product! Whenever someone asks me for a skincare recommendation, this cream is always the first one I mention. It gives a feeling of firming up the skin while providing excellent hydration that even resolves dry skin issues. The finish is lovely too. I even enjoy its unique, subtle floral honey scent that gently wafts around. There's really nothing to dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the basic packaging without any fancy wrapping makes the container seem smaller compared to other brands with the same volume, which is a bit disappointing. Just use it and you'll get that honey-like glow - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2019
Absorbs well At first, it felt like applying ointment. As I got used to applying it, it now feels fine. Absorption Naturally, due to its creamy texture, it doesn't absorb quickly... but after rolling it a few times and pressing it firmly with my palms, it clings to my face. Hydration I alternate between this and an anti-aging cream. On days when my skin feels dry, I apply the Nuxe cream. Then the next day, I notice a slight improvement in skin tightness and texture. Apart from the scent and ointment-like texture, it's pretty good. I think I'll continue using it consistently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2019
The one and only cream that could survive even through winter! The price is somewhat high, and the scent itself might be hit or miss for some people - pd****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
My holy grail night cream for over 4 years. While I've struggled to settle on a day cream, I've been loyal to this night cream since I first tried it. Here's why I love it: 1. Nourishment I have combination skin leaning towards normal. When I apply this before bed, I wake up to skin that feels plump and firm. It's similar to using a propolis or honey ampoule, but with longer-lasting effects and superior elasticity. This cream truly embodies what a nourishing product should feel like (though that's my subjective opinion). Unlike some heavy creams, it doesn't feel greasy or leave a slick, oily residue. It worked well when my skin was more combination-oily a few years ago, and it's still perfect now. As I age and my skin becomes drier, I might add a drop or two of facial oil. That's how versatile and long-lasting this product is. I'm so grateful that Nuxe keeps this as part of their ongoing line! 2. Texture and Application Some rich creams can be too thick, making them difficult to spread. This one has a relatively light, smooth texture that glides on easily. It's especially great for those nights when you want extra care but can't be bothered with multiple steps - you can easily mix in an ampoule or oil without any pilling. It's just part of its unique formulation. This might be the longest-standing product in my skincare routine. It satisfies every expectation I have for a night cream. I love it so much that it's hard to explain rationally and logically! There's honestly nothing I dislike about this product. If I had to nitpick, the jar packaging could be seen as a downside, but I suspect the texture wouldn't work well in a tube or pump. Also, it can feel a bit heavy on my skin in summer, so I either skip it or apply a very thin layer during the hottest months. 1. Hygiene Tips The product comes in a jar with a protective foil seal. To maintain hygiene and minimize air exposure, I have a little trick: I tap the jar on one side to gather the product in one corner, then only peel back a small portion of the seal to use it. It's a bit fussy to lift and replace the seal each time, but since the product is preservative-free with a short shelf life after opening (6 months), I think it's worth the extra care. 2. Purchasing Tips In Korea, this cream retails for about 40,000 won. However, it's much cheaper in Europe. When I traveled there 3 years ago, I found it at Monge Pharmacy for nearly half price or less. I stocked up on three jars and only wish I could have bought more, if not for the expiration date. If you're traveling to Europe or using European cosmetics direct purchase sites, you can get it much cheaper than the Korean retail price. - kh*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2019
I loved how moisturizing it was even with a small amount. The ingredients seemed well-thought-out, which I appreciated. Usually, products with excessive nourishment cause blemishes for me, but this one actually helped calm the small bumps on my forehead. I'm not entirely sure, but I think the honey and beeswax ingredients played a role in that. The honey scent was surprising at first, but I quickly got used to it. Now I actually find the fragrance pleasant. For those who find it difficult to spread this thick cream thinly, try spritzing on some mist before applying the cream. When I do this, it doesn't feel like it's sitting on top of my skin, but instead feels more hydrating and like it's filling my skin from within. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2019
I'm on my fifth bottle of this cream, which I initially bought when my skin was acting up. It's been a reliable choice. Some people complain about the scent, but I find it perfectly fine. It feels like there's more oil than hydration in this formula. Those with extremely dry skin might find it lacking in moisture. The price is quite steep. I go through one bottle a month, and I'd switch to a more affordable alternative that works just as well if I could find one.
