Great for blemish-prone skin with large pores. When applied, it visibly reduces pores and gives a nice glow. It has excellent soothing properties and works well for redness too. It's too expensive to use generously. While the effects are good, it's disappointing that I can't apply it liberally. It works even better when used with other blemish-soothing creams. I love applying this on trouble spots after using IOPE Derma Repair Cica Cream. - mi*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
It seems to work well when used after Step 1. The product absorbs smoothly on the skin. It's quite pricey and the amount is too small. Also, it's nearly impossible to use up all the remaining product once you're near the end. It appears to be more effective when used with Step 1, but if you don't have Step 1, using it after a regular scrub seems to work well too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2017
It's fantastic for calming blemishes when they flare up. I'll definitely keep using it! The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. If it weren't for the cost, this product would be absolutely perfect. - ph*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2017
It absorbs instantly and applies in a thin layer, which I really like! The volume is small and it's a bit pricey, so I have to use it sparingly. I wish it were a little more affordable. - ta*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2016
The soothing effect is truly excellent. I'll definitely keep purchasing and using this product consistently. The price is quite steep. They could probably sell it for less and still make a good profit. When I apply it after hair removal when blemishes appear, they quickly subside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 22, 2016
I really appreciate Mary Kay's basic line, especially Step 2 - it's truly fantastic. It absorbs quickly into the skin, and compared to other essences, my skin seems to accept it without any burden. I've lost track of how many years and bottles I've gone through, but I'll definitely keep using it. The bottle... You can't squeeze it or scoop it out, and you can't open it, so it's hard to gauge how much is left. It doesn't satisfy my desire to use every last drop at the bottom. I love this along with their dark circle-reducing eye cream for the cheek and eye area, and their cleanser. Also, using this line's cream in winter provides incredible hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2016
After using Step 1, apply about three pumps to experience cooling, soothing, hydrating, and regenerating effects. The price is too high. If you want to use it with Step 1, the total cost is jaw-dropping... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2016
It absorbs well. I tried it while going to the dermatologist because it's supposed to have regenerative properties, but the effects were neither bad nor particularly good. The amount is too small for the price. It might be better to just buy something else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 18, 2016
It has a soothing effect. My skin is super sensitive and usually reacts to everything, but this doesn't cause any allergic reactions. While it does have a calming effect and doesn't cause blemishes, the results aren't dramatic. The amount is small, so it runs out quickly. It seems a bit pricey for the quantity you get. It's great to apply on sensitive skin after exfoliating your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2016
I just love everything about it! It's the one product I consistently remember to apply without fail. I'm a bit anxious about whether it's suitable for pregnant women to use...
