My baby's skin was rough, and the lotion alone was not enough to moisturize it. After applying the balm and letting it absorb, and then putting the lotion on top, I felt the moisturization was much better. I'll have to use it for a little longer to know for sure, but after a month of use, I'm satisfied.
Cons
It took a while to absorb, so when my baby touched her thighs with her hands, her hands would get a bit slippery. My baby sucks on her fingers, so that was a bit of a concern.
