ProsI've been using this life scrub for over 15 years
I've been using it since the 080 phone order days
There are a lot of small apricot seed fragments in the creamy formula
Even using a small amount, I can roll it all over my face, so it lasts a long time
You know when your skin condition is really not good? Even after exfoliating with a peeling gel and thoroughly moisturizing, the uneven surface and stiff feeling remain, making you feel like your makeup won't go on well? When I use this, my skin becomes smooth like a peeled egg, and my makeup applies beautifully
You can use this on mornings when your skin feels rough, especially on important days!!
Regular gentle exfoliators just aren't enough for me, so I've tried all kinds of scrub products. Most products have plastic beads or powder-clumped capsules, which don't exfoliate well. Plastic beads are round and don't remove dead skin effectively, and with the recent microplastic issues, they've been phased out. Capsules dissolve quickly in water and burst when rolling, so I don't think they provide a satisfying exfoliation either.
Most scrubs these days are too gentle and don't give that refreshing feeling. The DHC scrub is made by crushing apricot seeds, and the irregular seed fragments with sharp and uneven edges do a great job of exfoliating when rolling. It can be a bit irritating, but if you use it gently without much pressure, it's unbeatable. That's why I always come back to it, even after trying other products.
But I only use this on special occasions when my skin is in poor condition - normally I just use a peeling gel. If a similar Korean product came out, I'd switch to that in a heartbeat. I really hope they release something like this!
ConsIt's a Japanese product...
Why hasn't Korea made a similar product in all these 15 years I've been using this? Please make one!
TipAfter rolling, I also use the leftover product on the back of my hands for an extra hand scrub before rinsing
