I've been using this life scrub for over 15 years I've been using it since the 080 phone order days There are a lot of small apricot seed fragments in the creamy formula Even using a small amount, I can roll it all over my face, so it lasts a long time You know when your skin condition is really not good? Even after exfoliating with a peeling gel and thoroughly moisturizing, the uneven surface and stiff feeling remain, making you feel like your makeup won't go on well? When I use this, my skin becomes smooth like a peeled egg, and my makeup applies beautifully You can use this on mornings when your skin feels rough, especially on important days!! Regular gentle exfoliators just aren't enough for me, so I've tried all kinds of scrub products. Most products have plastic beads or powder-clumped capsules, which don't exfoliate well. Plastic beads are round and don't remove dead skin effectively, and with the recent microplastic issues, they've been phased out. Capsules dissolve quickly in water and burst when rolling, so I don't think they provide a satisfying exfoliation either. Most scrubs these days are too gentle and don't give that refreshing feeling. The DHC scrub is made by crushing apricot seeds, and the irregular seed fragments with sharp and uneven edges do a great job of exfoliating when rolling. It can be a bit irritating, but if you use it gently without much pressure, it's unbeatable. That's why I always come back to it, even after trying other products. But I only use this on special occasions when my skin is in poor condition - normally I just use a peeling gel. If a similar Korean product came out, I'd switch to that in a heartbeat. I really hope they release something like this!
Cons
It's a Japanese product... Why hasn't Korea made a similar product in all these 15 years I've been using this? Please make one!
Tip
After rolling, I also use the leftover product on the back of my hands for an extra hand scrub before rinsing

This is truly the best for exfoliating. After scrubbing, you can feel your skin becoming smoother and clearer.
Cons
Scrubbing too much can damage your skin. Please roll it on lightly and do not do it for too long ^^~
Tip
This product is best used about once a week. Scrubbing too often can make your pores look wider. The granules are also on the larger side, so it can irritate your skin and cause redness!! Roll it on lightly once a week and rinse with lukewarm water, and you'll definitely see improved exfoliation and softer skin ^^ I've been using this product consistently for 15 years, so I highly recommend it ~~

1. Excellent for sebum removal 2. Magical for improving skin texture When regular peeling feels insufficient and the skin feels rough to the touch, this is when I use it. Then, a magical transformation occurs. After scrubbing with this, the troublesome sebum and whiteheads seem to disappear, leaving the skin silky smooth! The skin tone also appears brighter! It's hard to find a product that delivers such great effects, so I keep coming back to this one.
Cons
1. Larger than expected granules 2. Price The apricot seed granules are quite large, much larger than expected. First-time users may be surprised by how coarse the granules are. So if you rub your face vigorously like with a regular peeling product, it can be irritating. It's best to start gently and gradually increase the intensity as you use it more often. The price is not exactly cheap. The product size is also quite small. I'm not a big fan of the product packaging design either, and I'm not sure why they haven't improved it. Maybe they're keeping it as a signature look.
Tip
I use this product whenever my skin feels rough. About 1-2 times a week seems to be the right frequency.

My life scrub♡ I've been using this product since high school This is the only DHC product I can't let go of ㅠㅠ And this is undoubtedly the best scrub!!!! When my skin gets dull, using this makes my skin texture smooth and refined
Cons
I've been using this product for 9 years There are no downsides 9 years of use speaks for itself
Tip
After the first cleanse, thoroughly wet my face with slightly warm water then scrub and rinse with alternating warm and cold water It's the best!

The usage is very convenient. I used the olive cleansing oil to remove my makeup, and then the facial scrub to massage the areas with high sebum production, and they became smoother. The scrub has granules, but it's not too irritating.
Cons
But if you use too much force like I did, your skin can get damaged...

It exfoliates really well. The makeup applies well the next day, and it's a product I keep repurchasing. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin with large pores, so I was worried about the granules, but as long as I use the right amount, it works great! I tried the sample first and then bought the full size, and I've been using it for over 5 years.
Cons
The scent is not great... And the granules are too big. This is both a pro and a con - when I have pimples or wounds, it can be really painful. And the price is a bit... There are a lot of good DHC products, but the prices are burdensome. There are many similar, more affordable options.
Tip
Adjusting the amount is essential!!! A little goes a long way because of the granules.

I recommend this scrub to those with sensitive skin that needs whitehead removal due to chemical irritation! The apricot seed scrub opened up a whole new world for me, who was only familiar with peeling gels. My skin is sturdy and can withstand physical scrubbing, but it is particularly vulnerable to chemical cosmetics. This physical scrub seems perfect for such skin. While I always broke out after using peeling gels, likely due to certain ingredients, I didn't have that issue with this product. The rough apricot seeds seem like they would be irritating, but surprisingly, I didn't get any breakouts. The scrub particles in this product are unusually large, so I had to gently massage it. There was no redness, irritation, or pain after using it! However, you should absolutely not scrub too hard. The ingredients include phenoxyethanol and some mysterious zinc oxide, but aside from those, the ingredients seem decent. When using it, I was so focused on the abundance of apricot seeds that I didn't pay attention to the other components. It's a beige-colored cream packed with apricot seed powder - there are tons of seeds and not much cream. It doesn't cause breakouts and provides sufficient exfoliation! Honestly, it doesn't give the same thorough exfoliating feeling as other peeling gels, but my foundation applies much smoother the next day. It just creates skin that's nice for makeup, not something that completely eliminates blackheads. Consistent use seems necessary. However, it was effective at removing those pesky "whiteheads" peeking out! Using it once a week seems just about right. It doesn't dry out the skin after use! The apricot seeds give a scrubbing sensation, but the cream prevents dryness. The cream has a somewhat oily feel, but a different kind of moisturizing than a foam cleanser. I really struggled with whiteheads that were popping up, as oil-based and peeling products didn't work for me. After stopping makeup removal wipes, it's gotten a bit better, but this scrub provides immediate results for whiteheads, if not blackheads! Try it on the areas where your makeup doesn't seem to apply well.
Cons
1. As I mentioned before, the apricot seed particles are larger than expected. So when I first started using it and rubbing it on my face, I was a bit scared; but gently massaging it in was completely fine! However, I would not recommend this for those with very delicate, easily reddened and fragile skin. The apricot seeds are really ground up finely and embedded in the product. 2. I don't usually complain much about design, but this has a bit of an early 2000s vibe. Just looking at the design, I'm not too drawn to it. 3. Since it's a DHC product, the price can vary widely on regular online shopping malls. Your best bet is to purchase it directly from the DHC website, where they sometimes offer free shipping on weekends - that's the cheapest option!
Tip
Doing makeup removal wipes daily + the scrub once a week = Escaping whiteheads!

The skin always feels soft and clear after use! It's not irritating at all and I love it.
Cons
There is nothing. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes when rinsing, just like other products.
Tip
It's best to use it on the bare face in the last step after showering, when the pores are open.

My skin's dead cells have diminished quite a bit, and my makeup applies really well!
Cons
It has a bit of an unpleasant smell, and it feels quite irritating when I rub it in... And after using it, my skin feels very dry. While my makeup applies well after using it, I really have to focus on the moisture aspect.

I thought it would be really rough and scratchy on my face, but after washing it off, my skin felt so soft and smooth. I was also worried about the acne-prone areas, but after using it, the breakouts went down...and when I woke up the next morning, my skin texture was amazing...I felt really good about it.
Cons
However, if you use it for too long, it can be irritating or painful, so it's best to use it for around 5 minutes.
Tip
It's more effective to use it when you have a lot of visible pores or acne. You can use it 1-2 times a week or even just once a week.
