It felt a bit heavy to use on its own, so I mixed a small amount with my night cream. I was pleased to wake up to a glowing complexion the next morning. I bought this because it was highly ranked in sales, but the distinctive olive scent was a bit bothersome. While the texture wasn't extremely heavy, it still felt somewhat suffocating on my skin. Initially, I intended to use it as a final step in my skincare routine, applying a drop as a protective layer. However, I disliked the oily finish, so I ended up mixing it with my cream instead. Also, although it has a pump dispenser, oil seemed to leak from the opening, making the case slippery and inconvenient to use over time. - hj***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 16, 2020
I'm not sure...????????????? I couldn't find any good points. It seems the product didn't agree with my skin as I developed blemishes. Subpar chairman level As citizens of a nation with a history of war crimes, I give a double thumbs up to the chairman and other employees who shamelessly make anti-Korean statements, seemingly unaware of how embarrassing their mental state is. Excerpt from No Cut News, 12.16 DHC Cosmetics Chairman Makes Another Anti-Korean Statement... Causing Controversy by Disparaging Korean-Japanese According to Buzzfeed Japan and others on the 16th, Chairman Yoshida wrote in an article titled 'About the Desperate Lottery' posted on DHC's online sales site last month, comparing the health supplement competitor Suntory with his company, 'For some reason, almost all the talents used in Suntory's commercials are Japanese of Korean descent. That's why they seem to be mocked as 'Chontory' on the internet.' The term 'Chontory' appears to be a combination of 'Chon', a derogatory term for Koreans and people of Korean descent in Japan, and 'tory' from Suntory. The controversy spread when it was revealed that Chairman Yoshida himself posted such a discriminatory article. I developed blemishes after using this. - li******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2020
I applied this to my elbow. It's fragrance-free and doesn't irritate my skin. I appreciate the texture, even though it's not the easiest to spread. It still manages to hydrate my dry areas effectively. The product doesn't spread easily. You might need to use a larger amount to properly moisturize even a small area. For those with super sensitive skin, this could be a good option due to its gentle formula. However, keep in mind that you may need to work a bit harder to achieve even coverage. - es*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2020
It absorbs well and seems to work quickly. It feels a bit rich, which is why I'd recommend using it in winter. It feels a bit heavy, so I'd suggest using it during the colder months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2020
This seems to be effective in moisturizing my dry skin. The cost-effectiveness is quite low compared to the amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
✔Olive oil itself is slightly heavier than other oils, so there was a prejudice, but when applied in small amounts over a wide area, it seems good. There is no dryness, and it is the best for skin barrier protection. ✔Since there are no other additives, the olive scent remains as is, and it's fine. ✔I won't buy Japanese cosmetics due to the boycott of Japanese products. It seems there are many good domestic oil products at this price, so I will use up what I have and not buy it next time. ✔Apply 3-4 drops on the tips of two fingers and spread it thinly over the skin. ✔You can find good domestic face oil products in this price range, so please refer to them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2019
I have combination skin, but it doesn't get too shiny and I like it. There's nothing disappointing~~ I'm using it well~~ I think it would be good to use a coupon when it's on sale and purchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2019
When I used it in my 20s, my skin was prone to oiliness, so it didn't absorb well and felt stuffy. But now it feels lightweight. I just use it on its own, mix it into my lotion, or put it in my mist. I think I used it the best when removing my makeup. Personally, olive oil doesn't seem to work well for me. I feel like it lacks a bit in hydration, and it's just too plain. - bo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2019
When I first bought the DHC booklet, my mother was impressed and bought a lot out of curiosity. It has become one of the staple products in our home. Both my mother and I have noticed a significant improvement in our skin condition, including reduced breakouts and smoother texture, after using this product. (We both have extremely problematic combination skin.) My mother is still using this product even now (for almost 10 years..haha) The fragrance and heavy texture... makes me wonder if it's really olive oil.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2019
As the name 'virgin oil' suggests, the density is quite thick. In spring, fall, and winter, applying it after the cream stage helps lock in the cream so it doesn't disappear. I apply it frequently at the office as it seems to be creating wrinkles under my eyes. The price? Haha, since it's a virgin oil, the price is naturally a bit high, but it does feel a bit expensive considering the volume. However, since it's so good, I keep using it. Applying it after the cream stage helps the moisturizing effect last longer.
