When I was a student, I think I used that product more than 5 times because of my freckles. There was no actual effect of fading blemishes or brightening, but when I applied it, there was a slight stinging sensation, so it seemed to have some effect on my skin. The formula flowed like water, so it had to be applied quickly, and it was on the pricier side. The most effective product I've found for brightening and minimizing pores. There's nothing quite like it on the market. The powder tends to clog the opening, making it inconvenient to use over time. It gives your face a brightening effect when applied. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. The downside is that it feels a bit pricey. It's worth buying when it's on sale though.

I bought it hoping it would help brighten my sun-kissed spring skin, as it's supposed to aid in skin brightening. At first, I thought it was a gel and squeezed out too much, but it flowed like water, and I probably wasted half of it. There's no need to apply a lot - just a couple of drops patted gently onto the skin is enough. Because it's so light, it doesn't feel heavy on the face. Since it contains Vitamin C, it's better to use at night rather than in the morning. I apply a small amount after toner, let it absorb, then finish with a cream. Honestly, I didn't notice much brightening at first, but when I switched to a different product, I realized there was a subtle difference. It's definitely more effective than those so-called 'whitening creams' that just add a white tint to your face. The Hwahae Testers would approve of this product for its genuine brightening effects without relying on artificial whitening agents. Use only a small amount. I mean it - just a tiny bit. Like many brightening products, it can feel drying, and when I got greedy and applied too much, I got a small blemish on my chin. If you apply too much and it doesn't absorb properly, you'll end up with little essence particles rolling around on your face. Unless you're planning to use this as an exfoliant, stick to using just a little. You absolutely must follow up with plenty of hydration. If it's using Vitamin C to remove dead skin cells and brighten your complexion, it's bound to cause some irritation. The essence alone won't provide enough moisture. I've been using just a moisturizer lately due to the humidity, but I had to break out a rich cream to use with this. A cream is essential. If you use it in the morning, sunscreen is a must. It can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. That's why I prefer using it at night to give my skin a chance to rest. The 25ml size seems okay, but as you can see in the photo, it's just slightly larger than a lip balm. It's small! But considering you need to use it up before it oxidizes, this size is actually quite practical. While it's not a bad product for the price, I personally think the formula could be improved. It's still inconvenient to apply because it's so runny. You can purchase this at a discounted price during Hwahae's special sale days. It absorbs well into the skin and feels refreshing, which I really like! The only downside might be that it's not the most budget-friendly option. Other than that, everything else is great. The essence feels as light as toner, almost like water. It's great that it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I'll need to use it a bit longer to see the brightening effects. Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. After applying, white particles form on the skin. That's disappointing... I wonder if it's not absorbing properly. The application isn't smooth; it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than sinking in. If you prioritize how a product absorbs, this might not be the right fit for you.

I couldn't really find any specific drawbacks, but personally, I think it would be nice if it had a subtle lemon scent. I've been applying it after cleansing, right after toner. It seems to tighten pores and make my skin look more radiant with consistent use. The effects appear to be better than other cosmetics I've tried. The product tends to solidify if kept for too long. After using it consistently for about a week, you can feel your complexion becoming brighter. It has a completely water-like texture that absorbs well, making it perfect to use from now until summer. However, it can feel a bit drying. Other than that, there's nothing particularly disappointing. Due to the nature of Vitamin C, it's recommended to apply it at night. If you use it during the day, make sure to follow up with good sun protection.
