This nail polish became famous as a celebrity favorite, and I bought the affordable Skinfood Grapefruit version because of its popularity. To put it simply, it's really great! There's a reason why Skinfood's nail polish is known for its 'Grapefruit Cocktail' shade. It has a coral feel that even people with yellowish skin tones like me, who don't usually suit muted colors, can wear well. Also, I threw out all my old nail polishes, but this one still works perfectly even though I didn't store it carefully - no separation at all! There's absolutely nothing to complain about... Please bring it back, I beg you! I regret not stocking up on more bottles. - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2020
Works beautifully as a syrup nail or full coat. As someone with warm-toned hands, this is one of the few colors that truly suits me. I've been using it for years as my go-to daily shade for spring and autumn. While it does tend to thicken quickly, I keep using it religiously, applying a top coat and thinning it out as needed. Grapefruit Juice... a true favorite! My only regret is not stocking up before Skinfood went out of business. I still haven't found a nail polish that can match the unique shine and plumpness of Grapefruit Juice, which is disappointing. - po*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
Wow... This grapefruit-colored syrup nail polish is absolutely stunning. The syrup-like texture gives it a beautiful glossy finish while still applying transparently. It's just gorgeous! It's such a shame that this product has been discontinued. I'm so disappointed! There's no substitute for it either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect for creating beautiful gradients. One coat is quite sheer, allowing your natural nail to show through. Layering requires some skill, as it's easy to mess up with two coats. It can clump a bit, making it slightly challenging to apply smoothly. For a stunning gradient effect, try applying multiple thin layers. - th********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 13, 2020
Even with my clumsy hands, this was the only product I could apply well! Up close it might look a bit odd, but from a distance, the gradient effect was beautiful, making my hands look pretty. I loved it! It's so sad that this product has been discontinued. I'd love recommendations for similar products if anyone knows of any. One downside was that the cap tended to come off easily, which was a bit inconvenient. For best results, apply a thin layer all over and let it dry. Then, apply a second coat from the middle of the nail to the tip to create a lovely gradient effect! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2019
Hello there! It's Sujung here. Today, I've unearthed a hidden treasure from my nail polish collection for a review! The best part? It dries quickly and doesn't smudge easily once it's set. While the nail polish itself seems to be of excellent quality, I'm a bit disappointed that the color isn't really my style. It's also a shame that this product has been discontinued. One important tip: absolutely avoid applying a matte top coat over this polish! The result is quite odd. By the way, in the second photo, I've only applied the polish to my middle finger. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 15, 2019
1. The color is beautiful 2. It applies with a sheer and transparent tint 3. It's affordable 1. You need to apply multiple layers Due to its transparent color, you have to keep reapplying 2. It dries quickly I shouldn't expect too much from a budget-friendly product, but it does set fast Why does it take so long to dry though...! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2019
My holy grail nail polish! Even with my warm-toned dark skin, I can rock a fresh, vibrant nail look! This is my go-to when I'm in that mood. Originally, it's a bit orangey, but when it thickens and I mix in some acetone, it transforms into a lovely pink shade - which I actually prefer! I usually apply it in a gradient style, giving my fingertips a beautiful pink glow. I absolutely detest nail colors that clash with my skin tone or look disconnected, but this one just makes my hands appear brighter and it's absolutely stunning. However, when I went to Skinfood recently, it was nowhere to be found... I hope it's not discontinued! No complaints. I just wish they'd send it to my house every three months! While it looks beautiful with a single coat, I think this product truly shines when applied as a gradient. It's simply gorgeous and gives such a delicate, feminine look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2019
The color is absolutely lovely! I'm head over heels for this grapefruit shade. I truly adore it ~ Fantastic value for money ~~ Well, if I had to pick something... maybe the packaging? It's a bit inconvenient to store on my vanity. ~~ I suppose it would be better if it were easier to display, like Chanel nail polishes - mo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2019
The perfect shade for spring and summer. It's like a translucent watercolor. One layer gives a soft, natural look, while three layers create a vibrant pop of color. You can achieve different effects depending on your outfit and mood. It's fantastic when matched with a coordinating swimsuit - it gives such a good feeling when you see it underwater at the pool! I love that it doesn't leave brush marks even when applied casually. It tends to dry out quickly, becoming thick and pasty. The product hardens around the bottle opening, making it difficult to open the cap. It looks beautiful when you apply two layers and top it off with a clear, pearlescent shade.
