Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those who practice skin layering techniques.
ConsI bought this for sensitive skin since my skin is super sensitive. However, sometimes it causes large, red, map-like patches on my cheeks and nose.

I first tried it when living in Japan and have been using it ever since. The photo shows my current skin condition - no filter, no concealer. Previously, I had acne around my nose and mouth, and severe blackheads. Even with makeup, you could see the texture in photos. My skin was especially dry. My friend was so impressed by my skin transformation that she bought Curel too. It might seem pricey, but the large size is similar in cost to Mamonde Rose Water Toner. I'll probably use it forever. While restoring my skin with these staple products, I realized that ingredients aren't everything unless they're high-risk. Natascha particularly likes squalane and propolis, and dislikes fragrances, alcohol, and parabens (unless they're at the end of the ingredient list). I didn't realize fragrances didn't suit me. Aloe vera doesn't work well for me either. Surprisingly, fragrance-free cosmetics are rare, which is why I recommend this. It was affordable in Japan and many acquaintances used it, so I tried it. That's when I discovered the power of toners (without doing the 7-skin method). I used to think toners were just cheap fillers, but now I see they play a crucial role. I remember there are several lines in the Curel range, but this is the most famous. The green line is also good (slightly thicker). Looking at my review history, I ruined my skin with foundation (before that, I had tough skin with occasional cystic acne). I restored it with Bioré Cleansing Oil (my absolute holy grail), Stridex exfoliating pads (only on T-zone, cheek pores, and forehead), MUJI toner, Skinfood Propolis Essence, and Curel facial cream. Now, my skin is even better than before - no more tightness, makeup separation, or small pimples. Even my redness has significantly reduced. Curel cream is amazing - please buy it when it launches in Korea! It's designed for atopic skin, so it's non-irritating. Even for me, who's sensitive to oily textures, it provides the perfect amount of moisture. Over time, it even regulates my skin's oil production. This toner and Curel cream combo is so good, I'll probably use it for life.
ConsWhen I think about the price I used to pay in Japan... sigh. But passion knows no bounds. I used to use Mamonde because it didn't irritate my skin, and switched to this. After a year, I tried Mamonde again and realized it's actually irritating for my skin - I got small bumps within days.
TipFor those with super picky skin like mine who are tired of searching for the right toner... I recommend this. Popular toners like Hada Labo Gokujyun, Mamonde, etc. don't work for me (Gokujyun Light causes cystic acne, Mamonde causes small bumps, and Innisfree products just don't suit me for some reason). The Curel and this toner combo is unbeatable. It also works well with Pyunkang Yul cream. Sometimes I apply MUJI emulsion at the end to lock in moisture. For days when this combination isn't enough, especially in winter, I add a bit of MUJI jojoba oil - it works wonders. In Japan, MUJI jojoba oil is famous as a multi-use oil. You can apply it to your hair and pretty much anywhere. Before finding this combination, my sensitive skin suffered from dehydration and needed both oil and moisture, but creams and emulsions didn't work. However, a small amount of jojoba oil was actually okay to use occasionally.
