For those who dislike an oily finish, you can just use a small amount and it will leave a nicely hydrated look without the oiliness.

- Although it's labeled as highly moisturizing, the hydration level is actually just average. Those with dry skin may find it insufficient on its own.

I usually dispense some onto my hand and pat it in. Sometimes I soak a cotton pad and use it as a sheet mask. I use it as a base before makeup during the day, and apply it before serums or ampoules at night.

It has a basic water-based toner texture. Watery.

🚿Hydration🚿
The hydration level is average for a regular toner. Not exceptionally moisturizing, but not lacking either.

🌿Soothing Effect🌿
After using it consistently for 2 weeks, I noticed a reduction in my larger pimples, though they didn't disappear completely. From a distance, my skin looked clearer. However, I can't attribute this solely to the toner, as I was also using a tea tree soothing pack daily.

If I apply a generous amount, it leaves an slightly oily finish. But if I use just the right amount, it dries down to a nicely hydrated state. The absorption time is average.

💯Overall💯
I experienced a soothing effect, and it simplified my basic skincare routine before makeup. I used up the entire bottle without any issues. I'd recommend this to anyone who has access to the Muji stores.

I'm happy with the soothing effects and ease of use, so I would repurchase. But unfortunately, since I bought this while traveling, and there's no Muji near where I live, I had to get a different toner instead.


It doesn't cause any trouble, but the moisturizing plump feeling is relatively weak.

This product is good for cleansing and wiping after washing your face. It gently cleanses without causing any trouble, but it doesn't provide as much of a moisturizing plump feeling.

The uneventfulness could be a downside. It didn't really improve my skin or anything.

It's smooth and gentle. I think the best part is that it's uneventful. I used it as a trouble-free product.

It would be more convenient to buy a separate pump...

My acne was quite severe, and no matter what I tried, it only got worse. A Japanese friend recommended the Muji Sensitive Skin Lotion, and I've been using it by soaking a cotton pad with the toner.
The product I used before would leave my skin feeling dry after wiping, but with this one, the dryness and tightness were greatly reduced. It's also a very lightweight product, so I can use it generously. It didn't irritate my skin at all, and the fact that it's fragrance-free made it even more comfortable to use.

Famous toners like Hada Labo Gokujyun, Mamonde, and so on don't work for me (Gokujyun Light gives me clogged pores, Mamonde gives me clogged pores, and the Innisfree ones are just weird and don't agree with me).

The Curel and this toner combo is the ultimate.
The combo of this toner and the Curel cream is also great.
I sometimes apply the Muji lotion as the final step - it helps lock in the moisture a bit more. The lotion itself is just so-so, though.

And on days when even that combo isn't enough, a tiny bit of the Muji Hoba oil does the trick - I did that a lot in the winter.

In Japan, the Muji Hoba oil is famous as a multi-purpose oil.
You can use it on your hair, and just all over.

Before finding this combo, my skin was definitely sensitive and had a lot of tightness, so I needed both oil and moisture, but nothing seemed to work for my fussy skin ㅠㅠ But a small amount of the Hoba oil actually helped sometimes, even if just occasionally.

 Thinking about the price I paid for it in Japan, it's... haha
But there's no stopping the skincare enthusiast in me...
I used to use Mamonde, which was relatively non-irritating for my skin, but then I switched to this.
After using Mamonde again after about a year, I realized even Mamonde is irritating for my skin and I get clogged pores a few days after using it.

 It's great that it properly regulates the oil as well. This product is truly amazing...

I went off on a tangent, but I think I'll be using this toner and Curel combo for the rest of my life.
