I've always wanted to try Muji's skincare line. I really like the clean and transparent packaging. I actually bought it in Japan because I thought it would be cheaper there, even though I didn't really need it that much. However, lately I've been using the Neogen Floral Toner, which is quite lightweight and doesn't provide enough hydration, so my skin has been getting quite dry in this weather. I usually layer multiple thin products like toners, serums, and essences, but since the first step is so drying, no matter how many creams I apply on top, my skin still feels a bit dry and sensitive. That's when I remembered this product! It's the epitome of hydration and gentle formula, so I thought it would be perfect. Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This product definitely lives up to my expectations. The glycerin-infused formula feels nicely hydrating. But it's not heavy or burdensome to wipe off. I think it's a great basic toner, especially for the winter - perfect for cleansing and prepping the skin before applying the next lightweight products. After wiping it with a cotton pad and patting it in, the skin feels comfortably plump and ready to absorb the following steps without any greasy or tacky residue. Soothing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There's absolutely no irritation at all! Even when my skin is sensitive, products I normally use can sometimes sting, but this one is always gentle and comfortable, no matter the skin condition. Lately, I've been using the Caudalie Vinopure Toner (with AHA) in the evenings, and since it's acidic, it can sometimes make my skin a bit red, but this Muji toner doesn't cause any such reactions. The Caudalie toner has a slightly stronger formula. After using that, applying this Muji toner immediately helps calm the redness. Even when my skin is simply dry and sensitive, the soothing effect of this toner is very quick. I've also been using it when my skin is broken out and irritated, and it helps to calm things down. Absorption ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although this is a highly hydrating, slightly sticky glycerin-based water toner, it absorbs into the skin quite transparently(?) It doesn't just evaporate like alcohol, but leaves a nice level of hydration behind.
Cons
🙏 Just one thing!!! Since the toner outlet is too small, it doesn't come out very well ㅜㅜ I have to shake it like crazy to soak the entire cotton pad... Like a shaker... 👋 It would be great if they made it a little wider so it comes out more smoothly...

The absorption was good, and it felt moist and plump from the inside. I'm quite sensitive, but I didn't have any trouble or breakouts. The finish also felt refreshing and nice.

I bought it because I was doing the 7-skin method, but now I only use this product. It has good spreadability and absorption, and it seems perfect for my very dry skin. I feel like my skin has improved since doing the 7-skin method with this product. And the price is affordable, so I can apply it generously without worrying!! Great product!
Cons
There's really nothing disappointing, but the skin toner bottle looks a bit small, I guess...haha

When you do the 7-skin method and apply the lotion and cream, you get a dewy, glowing complexion~~

Even though it has a somewhat drying texture, it satisfies both spreadability and absorption. You don't need to apply additional cream if you layer it a few times! The price also seems reasonable compared to other basic skincare products.

The moisturizing effect lasts a long time, and it's fragrance-free and hassle-free, so I'm on my third bottle now~It absorbs well when I lightly wipe it off and use other cosmetics afterwards, which is great.
Cons
The ingredients are a bit disappointing. But since I don't have extremely sensitive skin, I've been using it without any issues. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth, though.

I have an allergic skin condition, and this year I even developed atopic dermatitis, causing extreme dryness and sensitivity. I initially purchased the Muji sensitive skin - high moisture travel size, which was non-irritating and moisturizing. After being so satisfied, I went ahead and bought the full-size version and have been using it. It's hydrating and has an absorbing, bouncy feel! Of course, it alone doesn't completely eliminate the dryness, so I've been using the essence and lotion from the same line, and I'm overall very satisfied with the products.
Cons
The only slightly disappointing aspect is that after applying the toner, the essence leaves a slightly sticky, tacky feeling on the hands that requires wiping with a tissue.
