- Affordable price and easily accessible - Oil-based and acetone-free, preventing nail dryness - Surprisingly effective cleansing power. It effortlessly removed Mody Nail polish and TheSaem gel top coat, dissolving them like oil - The scent causes nausea and headaches. It's identical to mosquito repellent home mats! Even stronger than acetone smell and lingers even after washing hands with soap three times, making you feel unwell. Bought it to avoid acetone smell, but this is even worse, completely defeating the purpose - The oily formula causes the dissolved nail polish to spread and stain various parts of your hands Perfect for when you want to cosplay as a mosquito dying from home mat poisoning - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 17, 2017
There's absolutely no harsh scent at all. It's so rich that you won't need any additional oil or balm. Is this really a makeup remover? It feels like it's just plain oil... This might be the worst purchase I've ever made among all the products I've bought. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 23, 2017
I bought this after the sales associate said it was gentle, and it does seem quite mild on the skin. It's on the pricier side, and it really doesn't remove makeup well... You'd be better off buying a different makeup remover. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 6, 2017
It doesn't have that typical acetone smell, so it doesn't give me a headache. Plus, I love how gently it removes polish. It's perfect for using every 2-3 days after applying a nail strengthener - no worries at all! It's also great that it doesn't irritate the cuticles. After removing polish, my nails don't turn white and chalky, but stay moisturized. Unlike traditional acetone removers, you can't just swipe it off immediately. You need to let it sit on the nail to soften the polish. This makes the removal process a bit longer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2017
Being acetone-free, it has a pleasant scent and feels gentle. It removes polish effectively while seeming to be less harsh on the nails. After use, it leaves a greasy feeling on the hands, necessitating hand washing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 29, 2017
As someone who absolutely adores nail polish, maintaining the oil and moisture balance of my nails and cuticles is crucial. Other polish removers I've tried strip away all the moisture, leaving my nails prone to breaking and splitting. However, this remover manages to preserve the right balance while still effectively removing polish - impressive for an acetone-free formula! I'm really enjoying using it. Inevitably, being acetone-free means its cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. Here's a tip: Cut a cotton pad into smaller pieces (I use scissors to cut square ones into smaller bits). Soak a piece with this remover, place it on your nail, wait about a minute, then gently rub. The polish comes off cleanly and easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 15, 2017
It's odorless and non-irritating. There's no whitening effect on the nails. When removing glitter nail polish, you need to use quite a bit more remover. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2016
Perfect for someone like me who dislikes both the strong acetone smell and artificial fragrances. It also seems to be less drying on the nails. Although I bought it on sale, if you remove nail polish frequently, you might find the price a bit steep. - hs*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2016
I've tried many nail polish removers from various shops, but this one is the best by far. It's odorless and removes polish effectively! Just before using this, I tried another one that claimed to be acetone-free, but the acetone smell was so strong. When I was removing my polish behind closed doors in my room, my mom could smell the acetone all the way in her bedroom! While this one isn't completely odorless, it's much less pungent. I didn't really have any issues with it. Maybe it's a bit slippery? But that's not a problem since it removes polish so well. I heard a story about someone who almost went blind after mistaking this for the Missha Lip & Eye Remover, which looks identical, when removing makeup after drinking (I've used that Lip & Eye Remover too, and it's seriously harsh). I've also accidentally used the Lip & Eye Remover on my nails a few times when they were side by side on my vanity, which was frustrating. The takeaway is: stick to using just this nail polish remover, and if you do use both products, don't store them next to each other on your vanity. I guess this counts as a pro tip? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 26, 2016
I used this with high hopes since it's acetone-free! Many reviews said it doesn't remove polish well, but I managed to take off everything, including glitter and pearls, by letting it soak for a while. Some people mentioned not being able to do nail care right away due to the oil, but it didn't bother me since I usually leave my nails bare for a day after removing polish. It does have a strong scent that hits your nose! While it's not as headache-inducing as acetone, I was startled when I accidentally took a big whiff. However, it's fine as long as you don't deliberately sniff it. Update on January 5th: The smell seems to have faded... I'm using it now thinking it's really mild. Humans truly are creatures of adaptation... It's fine unless you intentionally smell it. Cut cotton pads into small pieces, soak them generously, and place them on your nails to let the polish soften! Give it plenty of time! Instead of pouring more and scrubbing hard when it doesn't come off easily, remember that the ingredients don't evaporate. Gently rub, flip the cotton pad, and reapply. Repeat this process, and you'll be able to remove even glitter polish! Here's to everyone having beautiful nails!
