I live in Paris. I purchased the product based on a recommendation from a pharmacy in the Galerie Lafayette in Paris, but after applying it, I started developing bumpy dead skin on my cheeks a few days later, and it soon spread across my entire face. It was itchy, irritating, and I had trouble sleeping it was so uncomfortable. People around me commented that my face looked sunburned, and I had to go around with a bright red face. Flaky bits would fall off my face, and occasionally small granular particles would come off as well. I switched back to using my regular Physiogel lotion, and that helped calm things down. During the time I was using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H product, I did not apply anything else to my face. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this on my face in my life, and it was really frightening and difficult. I was also hurt by the indifferent attitude from the place I purchased it. Do not go to the pharmacy near Galeries Lafayette.

Pros
This is my fourth repurchase of this product... No matter what moisturizing cream I used, my dry skin would remain that way, but after using this, my skin has been doing well, so I've been continuing to use it...
Cons
But when I read the reviews, it said that using this caused my face to be covered in milia... So I'm wondering if the milia on my face won't go away, and I'm debating whether I should go look for a new moisturizing cream again.

It didn't cause any dryness or excessive oiliness when I used it. If it hadn't caused breakouts, I would have stuck with this product..
Cons
I tried using it with the H toner, but small acne started breaking out so severely that I didn't even want to touch my face.🤗

Pros
It seems like a good summer option, but it didn't work well for my skin.
Cons
I bought it from Onefrancesone, thinking it would be good for my acne-prone skin, but it didn't work out. I actually felt like it made my acne worse. The moisturizing also felt like it wasn't absorbing properly.

The product had a nice glide and good moisturizing power. The price was also reasonable.
Cons
My mom and I used it together, but since her skin is sensitive, she had a sudden breakout. I have a combination skin type, and my cheeks were too tight and dry, so I bought it, but it's too oily and feels heavy and greasy. I think it would be better to use it in the winter.

I bought it because it seemed to be good for oily skin with acne. It applies smoothly and is not drying.

I was surprised to learn that it is suitable for oily skin types, including those with dehydrated oily skin, even though I thought it was only for dry, troubled skin.
Cons
It was the worst. When I woke up, the troubled areas were bright red (since I have oily skin). I absolutely will not use it again. Fortunately, no new blemishes have appeared.

The texture was soft and moisturizing. Even the next day, my skin felt smooth and supple. If it suits your skin type, you might want to repurchase it.
Cons
After using it for 3 days, I developed small bumps and medium-sized acne all over my face, and they haven't gone away even after a week. It seems this product doesn't work for me. What a pity!
