Pros
I'm still not sure. At least my acne hasn't gotten significantly worse!

It tingles a bit when I apply it. I'm worried about the fatty ingredients since I have oily skin. I want to switch to something else, but I haven't decided yet, so I'm just continuing to use this. Even using this cream, the small bumps on my forehead haven't gone away.

Pros
Since I'm sensitive to fragrances, I went to Olive Young and tried out various products by applying them to the back of my hand and smelling them over several days. I ended up purchasing the Uriage Eau Thermale Serum along with it. There is no skin irritation or fragrance irritation, and it's almost fragrance-free, which is great for those sensitive to scents. I detect a faint scent similar to Fucidin, but I don't experience any irritation. I was surprised to find that even though it's fragrance-free, there are fragrance ingredients in the formula..;; The tube packaging is hygienic. It has good moisture and is hydrating. There's a slight oiliness to it as well. The plump, bouncy feeling lasts a long time. Compared to other creams, the lack of skin irritation is a big plus. Overall, it works well for my skin. Those with sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivity may want to give it a try as well.

If I apply it at night and sleep in it, my skin stays hydrated until morning. So I think of it as a nighttime mask and apply it that way. Since it's focused on strengthening the moisture barrier, other functions like nourishment and elasticity are lacking. Lastly, the price is a bit high for the amount you get, and the ingredients are a bit disappointing, so I'm hesitant to repurchase. My teenage daughter said the La Roche-Posay Ultra Lotion was fine, but now that it's used up and she's using this product, she says it's itchy and something is turning red. I'm not sure what ingredient is causing this.

I live in Paris. I purchased the product based on a recommendation from a pharmacy in the Galerie Lafayette in Paris, but after applying it, I started developing bumpy dead skin on my cheeks a few days later, and it soon spread across my entire face. It was itchy, irritating, and I had trouble sleeping it was so uncomfortable. People around me commented that my face looked sunburned, and I had to go around with a bright red face. Flaky bits would fall off my face, and occasionally small granular particles would come off as well. I switched back to using my regular Physiogel lotion, and that helped calm things down. During the time I was using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H product, I did not apply anything else to my face.
