When I wear makeup, it seems to slightly settle into my skin, so I mainly use this in the evenings.

I bought two sets of the Reset Serum samples, so I have two 30ml bottles that I've been using recently. The formula is watery and absorbs well, so I've been using it as a toner substitute, even though the name is 'Essence'.
It's a bit confusing because the sample is labeled as a 'Lotion', but the actual product is called an 'Essence'. I've noticed that Loccitane sometimes names their products differently on the website versus the actual packaging.
Anyway, even though I'm usually not a fan of tacky textures, I'm very satisfied with the refreshing and moisturizing feel of this product. It's hydrating without being oily, so I think it would work well for those with dry skin. I haven't had any issues with breakouts or excess oil, and I've been enjoying using it lately.
The scent is similar to the Divine product line, with a slight herbal aroma. I personally really like the scent, as I find the Divine cream to be almost medicinal, like a tonic.

I highly recommend the oil serum and the Divine Lotion.
