The famous Nuxe oil! A friend gifted it to me after a trip abroad. I was intrigued by the shimmer version, which I'd never seen before. I applied it with excitement... though I'll mention the downsides below. Now I just keep it as a decorative piece, but to avoid wasting it, I shake it like a music box when I'm bored. It reminds me of those 3D clothes with liquid inside from back in the day - I used to press the liquid when I was bored too. It's nice to reminisce about those old memories. The shimmer is much more intense and sparkly than I expected, making it too flashy for my pale complexion. It was like a glitter party on my skin! I was so worried about getting it on everything that I couldn't even sit properly and had to wash it off right away. When the shimmer settles, you can pump out just the oil from the top to use.

Nuxe Golden Shimmer Oil is a versatile multi-oil that can be used from head to toe. That's why I've been consistently using it for years and love it even more! It contains fine, delicate gold shimmer that adds an alluring sparkle while nourishing the skin. The small, elegant square glass bottle looks incredibly luxurious due to the golden shimmer. When you open the cap, it's an open bottle, but it was surprisingly easy to control the amount. The scent is like a subtle natural floral fragrance, which I really enjoy. You can mix it with BB cream or foundation for a subtly glowing contour makeup, and it also works well as a highlighter on the T-zone during your makeup routine. Words can't do it justice. It's absolutely amazing. The shimmer is out of this world! Be careful, it might stain your clothes. But honestly, it's so good you'll want to use it anyway!

I've used it on my hair, nails, and even dry areas like elbows - pretty much everywhere! Are these ingredients for real? At this price point? That's too much... What's up with these ingredients? Also, here's a real downside - when you apply it to your hair, doesn't it feel heavy? For some reason, my hair feels weighed down and limp all day long. It's great for adding a dewy glow when you want to highlight or illuminate your face. It also blends well with foundation for a seamless application. The shade seems a bit dark. I wish it came in a lighter color. It has a slightly reddish undertone. The gold pearl reflects beautifully when applied to the face. Lightly patting it over makeup helps reduce dryness and keeps dead skin cells at bay. It's large and expensive. The oil doesn't get used up quickly, and I couldn't even use half before it expired. When used excessively with makeup, it causes the makeup to come off at the slightest touch. The subtle shimmer works especially well on wavy hair, giving it a beautiful effect. It can feel a bit heavy when applied to the body in summer. On hair, it's initially moisturizing, but once it dries, you might notice the shimmer flaking off slightly. Considering the price... I bought Nuxe's rich oil and received a small 10ml sample to try. Oh my... it's so shimmery! After applying it, everything I touch becomes beautifully radiant. The fragrance was also one I really enjoyed. It's not so much for skincare as it is for when you're bored and want to add some sparkle... oh, the shimmer! The glitter is hard to remove. For three hours, I had magical, shimmering hands... Even when I wanted the sparkle to stop, everything kept glistening against my will. If I were to spend my own money on skincare, I'd probably choose a rich oil or dry oil without controversial ingredients instead of this. The idea of sleeping with this ultra-shimmery oil on feels a bit uncomfortable. It's just too glittery!
