Pros
My skin feels so soft after cleansing! I love the scent too. I tried a sample from Aesop and fell in love, so I had to buy it. It's great for those with super sensitive skin like me.
Cons
I don't use it for removing makeup though! I'm only using it for its gentle cleansing power.
Tip
For my routine, I first use another cleanser to completely remove makeup, then I follow up with the Aesop cleanser for a nice massage while cleansing. When you purchase, make sure to ask for the pump! I bought it in-store and the staff forgot to give it to me, but when I went back, they provided it. If you order online, you can request it and they'll send it by mail!

Cleansing Effectiveness: Initially, I was skeptical about its cleansing power, but I was pleasantly surprised by how effectively it removed residue, leaving my skin clean. Some reviews mentioned difficulty in creating lather, but I found that if you wash your hands thoroughly first and rub quickly, it foams up nicely. Keep this in mind when cleansing!
Cons
Admittedly, the results weren't as dramatic as I'd hoped considering the price point. With so many affordable yet effective products out there, I don't plan to repurchase this one.

It leaves my skin feeling moisturized without tightness after cleansing, and its cleansing effectiveness is quite good. I believe these two factors are crucial for a cleanser. Pros
The bottle is beautiful and I love the signature Aesop aromatic scent. It's not quite enough on its own for removing makeup, but it's perfect as a second cleanser or for morning cleansing. After washing, my face doesn't feel overly squeaky clean, sticky, or tight - which is great. I've been using it for about a month, and I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my complexion seems brighter after cleansing compared to other cleansers I've used.
Cons
I accidentally got some in my eye once and it was excruciatingly painful. I've had various things in my eyes before - eyebrow hairs, water, eye makeup remover, etc. - but nothing has ever hurt as much as this. Even though it was only for a brief moment, my eye became severely bloodshot immediately after rinsing. I'm not sure if it's related to harsh ingredients, but please be very careful not to get it in your eyes when cleansing. Another downside is that I find myself cleansing for longer because I'm not sure if it's all washed off. Also, since using this cleanser, I've noticed what feels like dead skin cells or small particles rolling around on my face when applying skincare products. Considering the price, I'm not particularly satisfied and plan to switch to a different cleanser once I find a suitable replacement.
Tip
While this cleanser doesn't produce much foam, if you massage it onto your face with a bit of water and then use a slightly damp pore brush, it creates a decent lather and cleanses effectively.

The price lives up to its name - amazingly high at $36 for 100ml. Whether you use the pump or pour it directly, it's easy to accidentally use too much. Being in a glass bottle also raises concerns about shipping damage when ordering online.

Pros
The price is a bit wicked, but it seems to be the best as a cleansing product! I struggled a lot with small blemishes, but after using this, my skin's heat sensitivity has reduced significantly, and I feel like my skin itself has become healthier. It's not an immediate 'wow!' effect, but rather a feeling of improvement with consistent use. The scent is also a truly healing aroma!
Cons
It's too expensive... It seems better as a second-step cleanser rather than a first-step one.
Tip
It works really well as a second-step cleanser after using a cleansing water for the first step.
