For my routine, I first use another cleanser to completely remove makeup, then I follow up with the Aesop cleanser for a nice massage while cleansing. When you purchase, make sure to ask for the pump! I bought it in-store and the staff forgot to give it to me, but when I went back, they provided it. If you order online, you can request it and they'll send it by mail!

I don't use it for removing makeup though! I'm only using it for its gentle cleansing power.

My skin feels so soft after cleansing! I love the scent too. I tried a sample from Aesop and fell in love, so I had to buy it. It's great for those with super sensitive skin like me.

For best results, use it alone in the morning, and in the evening, follow up with a gentle cleansing water before using this as your second cleanse. I also appreciated that it didn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing!

Admittedly, the results weren't as dramatic as I'd hoped considering the price point. With so many affordable yet effective products out there, I don't plan to repurchase this one.

I've been using this for two months now. I started getting a lot of small bumps, so I decided to switch cleansers. I ended up using this Aesop product that I previously used as a hand cream. It seems gentle and non-irritating, and the small bumps have stopped appearing!

In the morning, I only cleanse with this. At night, I use a foam cleanser first, then follow up with this as a second cleanse. It's gentle yet leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed right down to the pores, without any irritation!

I bought this through direct purchase overseas, not realizing it didn't come with a pump. I've been using an empty hand soap pump that fits perfectly. The texture is quite runny, like dish soap, so you need to be careful to gather it well to create a lather. Be warned - it foams up so much you might feel like you can't breathe!

My T-zone used to be an oil explosion with huge pores and excess sebum, while my U-zone felt like it would crack from dryness with just a bit of heating or AC. I have combination skin that's prone to blemishes if I use products with harsh ingredients. Before using this, I had to use pore strips twice a week and still had visible sebum. Now, even after months, I only need to use them once and barely anything comes out! It feels like it's dissolving the sebum rather than just stripping oil. And it doesn't dry out my U-zone either. Plus, the fragrance is absolutely divine!

Aesop has excellent customer service. When I mentioned that the product didn't feel good on my skin, caused severe irritation leading to redness and blemishes, they immediately processed a refund.

Perhaps due to its powerful cleansing action, it leaves the skin feeling extremely dry, as if it strips away even the essential oils and moisture needed by the skin.

The cleansing effectiveness is remarkable, giving a refreshing feeling as it seems to wash away not only surface-level dirt and dead skin cells, but also impurities and excess oil deep within the skin.
