Before I share what I liked, let me give you some context. I have super sensitive and extremely dry skin, and I exfoliate my face more than 4 times a week. I've had the habit of scrubbing my face with an exfoliating towel since childhood, and I still can't shake it off! Please keep this in mind as you read on. 1. I love that I can control the intensity of exfoliation by adjusting the amount of water when applying and removing the product. 2. Whether I scrub gently or vigorously, rinsing with warm water and finishing with cold water leaves my skin incredibly soft and smooth! 3. Unlike other grainy exfoliators, this one doesn't easily get into my eyes, and even if it does, it doesn't hurt! These are my personal thoughts, of course! The disappointing aspect is that after such a refreshing exfoliation with Clinique, you'd expect no dead skin cells to come off when using a towel the next day. While it doesn't affect makeup application, some dead skin cells still appear on the exfoliating towel. Since I'm used to seeing visible dead skin cells come off when I wash, I can't help but give it a lower rating. I've found that using a brush to wash off the product is a method that results in less dead skin cell buildup and causes less irritation to the skin. Even when I use more pressure, it doesn't hurt my skin and removes more dead skin cells. This is my personal beauty hack! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2017
It was a nice and convenient exfoliating scrub that I just applied to my face and rinsed off with lukewarm water! It seemed to effectively remove dead skin cells. After cleansing, is it just me or does a shiny residue get left behind on my face and hands? I'm curious if other users experience the same thing. - jn****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 15, 2017
You can feel your skin becoming soft and smooth after a short period of time. You just need to apply it, no need for additional rolling. When washing your face, gradually add water and roll while rinsing, which leaves a refreshing feeling. I've been using this product for 5 years for exfoliation, but even after thorough face washing, there are still some tiny glitters left, which feels a bit unsatisfactory. However, it doesn't seem to contain harmful ingredients, so I just continue using it. There are no particular tips to share. - th*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2017
It's really great I'm quite prone to contact allergies due to my sensitive skin, but this product doesn't cause any redness or irritation, even after prolonged use (with a light water rinse). After using it, my skin feels smoother and my dead skin cells are effectively exfoliated. After use, there's a somewhat shimmery residue left even after toning. Those sensitive to that kind of texture might not be able to use this product, though it doesn't feel sticky or anything. - 12******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2017
After using it, my skin feels smooth and supple, as if the exfoliation is working well. It's not a peeling, it should be called a scrub... The granules are too large and irritating. And why does my face look shimmery after using this? I was shocked when I first used it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2017
This product seems to have been developed to allow people with dry or sensitive skin to exfoliate without physical stimulation. Since I really like and get along well with Clinique products, I purchased it. It's good to use as an emergency when my skin condition is not great and I have a bit of peeling, and makeup doesn't apply well. Since this is a product designed to minimize irritation, it may not be as effective when dealing with significant peeling. For dry skin with moderate peeling, this product could be a good option. If you have a lot of peeling, I would recommend the Clinique product that contains larger granules. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2017
It's not a rubbing product, it's just a product that melts when left alone, so that's why I bought it. It seemed a bit irritating to me... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2016
It wasn't great. The tiny particles weren't too irritating, so it was interesting. The shimmering tiny particles were difficult to wash off completely, even after washing. I couldn't use it on my face, so I've been using it as a body exfoliator. I regret spending a lot of money on it. - 22****Combination SkinOct 11, 2016
This is a must-have product. I tried it based on a friend's recommendation and experienced a whole new world, so I immediately purchased it. I still regularly repurchase and use it, and my skin truly becomes as soft and smooth as a baby's after using it. The product has fine shimmery particles that feel a bit gritty, and even after scrubbing it off thoroughly with a cleansing foam, some residue remains on my face and hands, which feels a bit unpleasant. But I've been using it continuously without any breakouts, so I don't have any major complaints. Purchase it at the duty-free shop. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 23, 2016
You can feel your skin becoming smooth and radiant after using the product. The slightly abrasive particles can cause redness when rubbed on the face with your hands. Lightly dampen the skin, gently massage with light pressure, then rinse off for best results.
