First off, I really like the scent. It reminds me of butter (though that's a personal preference). I find it quite appealing - in fact, the fragrance was a major draw for me. I've found that layering it works even better. The amount you get doesn't seem particularly generous. The price point might be a bit steep compared to other lip balms. I suspect the scent could be polarizing for some. The hydration level isn't quite up to par, so layering is a must! Try layering it / Apply when you're feeling hungry - s2******Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2017
It's easy to use and applies smoothly. The scent is not irritating. While it's gentle, it softens easily in hot weather and wears out quickly. It seemed to have almost no moisturizing power. The dryness didn't go away easily, so I didn't see much effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 20, 2017
While I haven't used it recently, I'm writing this review because I don't think there's a product with better value for money! It's not particularly effective for intense hydration in winter, but it makes your lips feel moisturized and soft. It's more like your lips become plump and supple. It's not ultra-hydrating, but personally, it worked better for me than most lip balms I've bought from foreign pharmacies. I think the oatmeal ingredient plays a big role in its effectiveness! But why isn't this being sold anymore? I used two of them and couldn't get more. I've searched all over the internet, but it's almost impossible to find. It just says 'discontinued' everywhere. I used to see it a lot in big supermarkets and stores like Olive Young, but nowadays it seems really hard to find. It's great to apply when your lips often feel rough and flaky, or when they're so chapped that it hurts to open your mouth. Aveeno products, whether it's their emulsion or lip balm, seem to be optimized for treating deep dryness. - se**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 21, 2016
It's great for applying lightly (just enough before putting on color lip products). For a lip balm, I found the moisturizing power and staying power to be too weak by my standards. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJul 26, 2016
There wasn't anything particularly good about using this product. I only noticed the vanilla scent. Since childhood, I've had severe lip dryness, to the point where I couldn't do anything without lip balm and always carried extras. One day, my lips and the area around them became dry, itchy, and developed dead skin cells. They even started oozing, making it difficult to sleep at night. I visited a university hospital dermatologist, took medication, and applied prescribed ointments... It was awful. I even tried Neutrogena lip balm in between, but it wasn't until I accidentally used Vaseline, which I had used as a child, that all the symptoms disappeared. Without realizing this, I had been diligently applying Avaeno and Neutrogena lip balms to my oozing lips and the surrounding area, thinking it would help with the chapping... Vaseline is the gentlest option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2016
The only positive I can really mention is that it's fragrance-free. I think I bought it mainly because of the brand name. It's way too soft and melts incredibly quickly, even in my pocket. When applying, it feels slippery, but my lips don't seem to benefit at all... - da******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 23, 2016
- Keeps lips moisturized and hydrated. - Contains SPF, making it an excellent lip balm for protecting lips during outdoor activities. - Colorless, so it's suitable for everyone. - Has a pleasant fragrance. - While the scent is nice, the taste is quite off-putting. It's hard to use regularly because of the taste. - As many others have mentioned, it melts easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2016
When I apply this to my lips before bed, I wake up with incredibly soft lips in the morning. It's so moisturizing and lovely! The scent might be hit or miss for some, but I personally found it quite pleasant. It melts and crumbles... so disappointing. Years ago (about 8 years back, when I was younger and bought it at the supermarket), it came in a round container that you applied with your finger. Back then, it didn't crumble or break like this. Since they've redesigned it as a stick, it's been such a letdown. Sometimes I desperately miss that original product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 15, 2015
My lips are extremely sensitive. I've tried countless brands like Neutrogena, Avène, Nivea, Carmex, Uriage, Chapstick, Blistex, and more (too many to remember!). None of them worked for my lips. But this product, Avaeno! It's the only one that suits my lips perfectly! I'm so relieved. However, these days it's hard to find in Olive Young or Watsons... Now I have to purchase it online. There's just one downside: it's now difficult to find in physical stores. Buying it online is quite expensive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 4, 2015
The texture is extremely soft, which can get a bit messy as you use it This was the worst lip balm I've ever tried. It doesn't seem to function as a lip balm at all
