Using a separate eye and lip makeup remover along with this product helps remove everything completely. I was hoping to stick with this product, but it has been discontinued unfortunately. 🙁

If you let it sit for a bit and then remove it, it works just fine!

First, I cleanse my face with this product as the initial step, and then follow up with a foam cleanser as the second step, and it removes makeup well.

I don't think there's really anything wrong with it. I'm using it happily and am satisfied with it.

As the weather has gotten warmer, using oil cleansing made my skin feel heavy, and I started getting red acne or closed comedones in my nose area, so I'm pausing this and trying a Laneige cleansing product (the water-type one without PEG) and will leave another review!

The oil was nicely thin. Thick oils are difficult to rinse off, but this one has a moisturizing (?) texture that rinses off easily. I really want to recommend this to people with sensitive skin who tend to get pimples or acne when using oils for cleansing.
As someone with very sensitive skin who used to have rough, bumpy skin and sun allergies, I would recommend this to people like me.
It's called 'brightening', but people with sensitive skin don't even think about whitening or anti-aging benefits. But this doesn't provide whitening effects, so I was able to use it well.

It seems to also care for my dead skin cells, and my blackheads appear a bit more faded. It suits me well and hasn't caused any breakouts.

I've really searched through most of the easily accessible road brand stores, but I haven't found a cleansing product that I think is better than this one yet.

* Apart from the occasional 1+1 ginger lip balm, I would go to Aritaum just to buy this cleansing product, it's that good
* If you gently massage the area under the eyes and around the nose for about 1 minute, some gunk-like stuff will come up, and the next day your makeup will really sink in well!!! Really!
That's when I realized why cleansing is so important..!!
* Using the pump dispenser is really convenient.

The scent is nice, but that's the problem. Artificial fragrances can be harmful to the skin.

I thought it was a mild cleansing oil, but when I removed the fragrance, there were no irritating ingredients. It's not particularly strong in cleansing power, but it has sufficient cleansing power for practical use. For heavy point makeup, remove it with a lip and eye remover, and since you'll go through a secondary cleansing process anyway, I'd recommend this mild cleansing oil if that's what you're looking for.
