The scent is pleasant. It applies smoothly and feels gentle on the skin. It's quite drying, and unfortunately, the ingredients didn't agree with my skin, causing blemishes on my forehead. - kj******Oily SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2018
There weren't any positive aspects to mention. If I had to pick something, I guess it looks nice sitting on the shelf? My skin is incredibly resilient. I've never had a reaction to any product, so I always bought the cheapest cosmetics on sale. However, this foam cleanser was a wake-up call. Even during puberty, I only had one or two small blemishes on my forehead. But after using this product, I experienced acne on my cheeks for the first time in my life - and it was severe. This product gifted me with two firsts: my first cheek acne and my first major breakout. Since I had only changed my cleanser, I immediately knew it was this product. At first, I thought it might be hormonal, but the breakouts persisted for four whole months. Once I stopped using this product, the acne disappeared. The issue might have been caused by my use of this product for double cleansing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2017
It cleanses thoroughly and has an amazing scent. The lather is richer and creamier than expected. I'm not sure about dryness since I immediately applied moisturizer after rinsing. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. However, it's worth noting that while it costs around $6 here, there's quite a price difference in Korea. Using this in the bathtub during a shower really lifts your mood with its wonderful fragrance. - al*********Oily SkinNov 26, 2016
My tiny blemishes disappeared! Unlike other cleansers, it doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling after washing, but I actually preferred this. It's a shame it seems harder to find these days. Also, it only cleared up my blemishes when I first started using it, and after that, I didn't notice any significant effects. Still, I continue to use it for now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 26, 2016
The fragrance is truly delightful with a refreshing grapefruit scent. The color is also beautiful. It doesn't lather well. After using it, I experienced what seemed like an allergic reaction with red spots appearing on my skin (not blemishes, but more like mosquito bite-like marks!). My skin was also incredibly itchy. The cleansing effectiveness is poor, so I wouldn't recommend it for removing makeup. If you have super sensitive skin, I'd suggest avoiding this product. - wl******Dry SkinSep 1, 2016
I really liked how it wasn't drying after cleansing and was easy to use It's not a product with great cleansing effectiveness, so it's not ideal for removing makeup - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2016
The pump dispenser is convenient when you're too lazy to work up a lather. The foam does form, but it disappears after a few rubs. It might be better to create foam by hand for a more thorough cleanse. It doesn't seem to effectively clear out the pores. Usually, when I cleanse well, I don't get sebum around my nose, but after using this, I've been getting sebum that turns into blemishes. Not recommended for acne-prone skin. It doesn't seem to empty the pores well, which is crucial for proper cleansing. For those who still want to use it since you already have it, try using it with a sea sponge. Among all the cleansing tools I've tried, the sea sponge cleans pores the best. It might help compensate for this product's shortcomings. - cr*******Oily SkinJul 6, 2016
I use it whenever I have it. I'd love to get more. I'm the type to use whatever I have at home, so if it's there, I definitely use it. After using it, it feels like it sucks all the oil out of my face. I had oily skin on my nose, but after using this, it all disappeared. It doesn't seem to make my skin feel tight either. I liked it. The previous reviewer was right about there being no foam. It comes out foamy at first, but as you use it, the foam disappears. I just used it anyway since the cleanser remains on my hands. If you prefer foam, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you don't mind, go ahead and use it. The foam only envelops your face at the beginning... as you massage it in, it all disappears. Oh well, I like it so I'll keep using it. You need to avoid the eye area, otherwise it stings. The grapefruit scent is a bit strong, but I don't mind. I'm talking about the area under the aegyo sal, that part with just skin before you get to the cheeks. The precautions also say to avoid the eye area. I didn't read the precautions at first and had to blink a lot while wiping it off. It's not really a downside, just something to note. I just tried it out. Oh, and people who don't like strong products might not like this. Also, it has oil, so it feels slippery after use. Those who dislike oil might not enjoy it. Only use this if you don't mind the lack of foam. It's not exactly a pro tip, but avoid the eye area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 6, 2016
The foaming action is impressive... And the color looks quite appealing, doesn't it? For combination skin, it causes a tingling sensation when applied... The fragrance isn't particularly pleasant either... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2016
This Neutrogena cleansing foam has the best cleansing effectiveness among their range. While other Neutrogena cleansing foams caused blemishes for me, I love that I don't have to worry about breakouts with this one. I was taken aback when I researched and found out the ingredients aren't as good as I thought. On days when you wear makeup, I recommend double cleansing: first with an oil cleanser, followed by this foam cleanser.
