The texture is very smooth and moisturizing, and as I have dry skin, I use it as a daily emulsion before makeup rather than at night before bed. About 10 years ago, I read the 'bible' of the cosmetics industry, 'Don't Go Shopping for Cosmetics Without Me' (the predecessor of the current Hwahae app), which mentioned that the ingredients in this product are good, so I've been using it for a long time. The two main issues are the price and the scent. In the past, I didn't think the large quantity was expensive, but these days, there are many good products available at a lower price. I would have preferred it to be completely unscented, as it has a somewhat medicinal smell. It's definitely not a pleasant, mood-lifting fragrance. As I mentioned before, it's perfect to use before makeup, rather than at night. I bought this lotion after testing it in the store, and it turned out to be even better than I expected. Especially, it felt like my makeup applied really well on top of this cream, so I found myself reaching for it often. Personally, I also really liked the tube packaging. The price range is a bit on the higher side, but the amount of product was quite substantial, so I was able to use it for a long time. I have oily skin with dehydration, and gel-type moisturizers are too lightweight and make my skin feel taut. This creamy formula seems just right. It's quite unremarkable, but I used it without any major issues or breakouts. The price...? To be honest, there's nothing particularly special about it. It's a bit better than Physiogel, I suppose. When applying it before makeup, you really need to pat it in well so it doesn't pill up.

After 2 weeks, I'm extremely satisfied with it so far. The product amount is generous, so when I apply it generously, the subsequent makeup steps are absorbed better and it provides the right amount of moisturization without feeling heavy on my oily skin. I haven't been using MAC skincare products much, but this experience has made me interested in exploring their line again. I would definitely repurchase this great product. Personally, I prefer products without SPF, so this works well for me. But for those who want to apply it lightly and go out, the lack of sun protection may be inconvenient, as you would need to apply sunscreen separately. However, I found that after using this, other products apply smoothly without any pilling. I tend to have foundation cling to the skin on my nose, but when I apply this product generously on my nose and cheeks before foundation, it keeps my skin hydrated and dewy all day long! It seems gentle. When I use cosmetics incorrectly, they can be irritating, but there's none of that here. For my oily skin, the makeup doesn't really suit me. It feels heavy and shiny. - gh*********Dry SkinMay 28, 2017
This cream-like formula is so plump and bouncy. As someone with dry skin, I found that applying this lotion helped alleviate the dryness, and I enjoyed using it every time. Individual experiences may vary, but I'm satisfied with this product as it helps my skin absorb makeup well and leaves it feeling supple after using it as a base before sunscreen. When you apply this before doing your base makeup, your skin will have a radiant and moisturized glow. I highly recommend this for dry skin types. The only downside is that the longevity is a bit short... And if you apply too much, it can cause a lot of pilling when you do your makeup later on.
