It's gentle and rarely causes blemishes. It's perfect for bare skin or morning cleansing. Even for makeup removal, after oil cleansing, if you follow up with 2-3 rounds of foam cleansing using this product, it thoroughly removes all traces of makeup. While it's a product that works best with multiple gentle washes, the pump dispenses a bit too generously. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2019
Leaves skin moisturized with a gentle yet effective cleanse Stings if it gets in your eyes and can make them feel unusually dry - do*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2019
I repurchased this product after being satisfied with the original version. The main difference is a slight fruity scent, but it's so subtle it's almost unscented. Everything else is identical to the original! What's great about this product is that it thoroughly cleanses facial impurities while maintaining skin balance. You can even use it twice in a row for deep cleansing without experiencing any deep dryness. Despite being called a cleanser, it's actually super gentle. This versatility means you can use it as a hand wash or body wash too! Plus, you get a generous amount for the price. When there's not much left in the bottle, it tends to absorb moisture from the bathroom, making the liquid consistency thinner and more watery. Once it's about half empty, you might need to transfer it to a smaller container to use it properly. When I wash my face, I use it twice in succession. The first time, it barely lathers as it mixes with the impurities on my face. The second time, it foams up nicely, almost like soap. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2018

I like how gentle it is. The scent isn't overpowering, but the pump is a bit stiff when dispensing. The cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. Apart from that, there's no issue with using it as a mild cleanser. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2018
I love that it's non-irritating! The generous amount is great, and just one pump is enough. As someone with dry skin, I'm thrilled there's no tightness after use. It would be nice if they had a travel-sized version. I'd love to use it while traveling, but the pump packaging makes it a bit tricky. One pump is sufficient - ri******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2017
I tried this product because the Sensitive line was reformulated to include disinfectant for humidifiers. The usage experience is similar to Sensitive, which I like. It's not too drying. After massaging without water and then rinsing with water, it also removes makeup well. The fragrance is strange; it's not repulsive, but not good either. If this is the case, why did they add fragrance... I use it to wash my face and body too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2016
It's great - it's mild and the price is reasonable too! There's hardly any tightness after cleansing. The lather isn't very abundant, but if you cleanse with lukewarm water and pump it a couple of times while gently massaging, it gets a bit better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2015
I've been using it for 2 years now. It's really gentle. There's no irritation, no tightness, and it removes makeup well. In my case, I first use the skin cleanser and massage it into my dry face with my hands, rolling it around, then rinse with water. For the second cleanse, I lather up the Dr. Woods Black Soap in a cleansing net and wash my face thoroughly again. This way, my makeup is completely removed, and my skin doesn't feel dry. I haven't used a cleansing oil or foam cleanser in over 3 years, and my skin feels healthier than before! At first, the scent may be a bit off-putting, but you get used to it over time. Nowadays, I'm actually wary of products with fragrance, thinking 'Ugh, too much artificial scent.' If you only use this to wash your face, there's a slight feeling of not being completely refreshed. There's no that squeaky clean feeling. - yo*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresAug 31, 2015
This cleansing product is really easy to use and offers great value for the price!! It seems like this product has quite polarized opinions. The fragrance is quite strong, but since I personally don't usually use scented products, it doesn't bother me. For acne, I recommend the Grand Pa Sulfur Soap, and for other skin troubles, I suggest this product. Honestly, I wouldn't say it's a miracle product that made all my pimples disappear, but it does help prevent further breakouts and is non-irritating and quite reliable. These days, it's hard to find cleansers that are non-irritating yet effectively cleansing, so this is a good option.
