The color payoff is great. Being a pencil, it's easy to apply. Highly recommended for beginners. It breaks too easily. After prolonged use, the tip becomes blunt, making it difficult to draw precise lines. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 11, 2017
I didn't repurchase it because I used it less. The color payoff is good even with just one swipe. The lasting power was also good. And the built-in sharpener at the end of the pencil is an added bonus. I didn't buy it specifically for the waterproof feature, but it was weak against water. For your information, this product was advertised as having a waterproof function on the Etude House website. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2017
To be honest, I don't use this Arale very often. I only use it a few times when I feel like it. But the good thing about it is that it's easy to use. The color payoff is also intense. As a practice (?) Arale, it's not bad. It's too matte... It applies well, but the texture gets a bit clumpy. Moreover, it's hard to remove with a remover, so I had to rub it off vigorously... (Ugh..😣) 30 minutes later, I rubbed my eyes and it all smeared.. It looked like I did a smoky eye makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2016
I had previously purchased this product and stashed it away, wondering how I could use it. The Tony Mori white gel was painful and difficult to use, and the ingredients were poor, so I tried using it as an eyeliner. I couldn't see any obvious harmful ingredients like mica or silica, or any other concerning coloring agents. The application was so-so. On the back of my hand, the color appeared quite dark, but perhaps because I didn't apply much pressure, the actual color payoff was a bit lighter, like a diluted India ink color. The color was like a drop of black paint diluted in water. It doesn't dry immediately, so it's easy to fix with a cotton pad dampened with toner or mist. It seems relatively easy for beginners to use. It's almost monolid-like, but the part near the lashes is folded, so it looks almost double-lidded. The folded part didn't bleed or clump from the initial application. 3-4 hours later, one of the outer corners of my eyes had slightly smudged, perhaps due to eye moisture. It's blunt, so it's difficult to draw sharp lines. The sharpener is located at the back, and it's easy to lose since it comes out easily. 11 hours later, both outer corners were severely smudged. It all wiped off easily with just a light swipe of a makeup remover. This could be good or bad (...) It's fragile, so it may have already broken inside. + 09.23 In about 3 hours, both eyes were severely smudged all the way down to the undereye area. Where on earth are you supposed to use this? As a writing utensil? I applied eye cream this morning, but only a small amount, yet it's smudging this much, which means the smudging is already a given before use. What is this even meant for? Do they think it's okay for it to smear everywhere since it's not waterproof? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2016
The good thing was the vivid color payoff, and it also blends well! When applied lightly under the eyes, it makes the eyes appear more downturned, so I recommend it for those with cat-like eyes. I sometimes use this to make my eyes look more downturned under the eyes. But when I only use this, it causes ★torrential tears★. My eyes also sting a little, and normally I don't have that, but when I apply it to the eye area, my eyes start tearing up a lot. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 3, 2016
When the Play 101 Pencil was first released, I looked at other people's reviews first and it seemed to have good pigmentation, so I bought the black #1. It glides on very smoothly and doesn't smudge easily, so I think it's a really nice eyeliner pencil. I don't have any major issues yet, but if I had to point something out, it would be that the durability seems a bit weak. After using it for a few months, I feel like the core might break and come out. I'm still using it well, but it doesn't feel like the durability is very solid. Also, I wish the sharpener could sharpen it more precisely. But for the price, it's still pretty decent. The pigmentation isn't incredibly strong, and it doesn't layer very well on top of eyeshadow. If you apply it on the back of your hand first before using it, the pigmentation will be better. This is because the residual eyeshadow on your hand will help the eyeliner glide on more smoothly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2016
This was my first eyeliner, which I drew with my child~ Since beginners say that pencils are easier, I bought an affordable and decent one. When I tried it in my hand, it glided on smoothly and the color was nice too~ It's also comfortable to draw with, and there's a sharpener on the back so I can sharpen it anywhere. # Great glide 👍👍👍 Would repurchase 👍 Minimal smudging 👍👍👍 # It does smudge a bit and wipes off too easily 😂 It just wipes off when I swipe my hand over it... Although that's convenient sometimes... It's also a bit weak against sweat or water. You can dab some powder like a no-shine powder under your eyes and on the eyeliner area to help prevent smudging a bit! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2015
The price is reasonable and it applies smoothly. The color payoff is also good As long as you're careful before it dries, it doesn't smear or bleed at all. It's my personal holy grail product^^ It's easy to smear before it dries, but it should be fine if you're careful when applying it for the first time~^^ If you gently clean it up with a cotton swab before it dries, you can also create a sharp eyeliner look~
