It absorbs well and doesn't look cakey. Whenever I wear the Skin79 BB cream, my friends always ask what I'm using. I bought it after hearing it was the most hydrating among Skin79 BB creams, but I'm not entirely sure about that claim. The scent is not great. It doesn't smell like typical cosmetics, but rather has a slightly unpleasant skin odor. Although I bought it thinking it would be hydrating, it's still quite drying for my extremely dry skin. However, it doesn't cause flaking. For those with dry skin, try mixing it with a cream or oil! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 16, 2016
Even with my extremely dry skin, this doesn't leave me feeling parched at all. I have such dry skin that I love creating a glowing complexion even when using BB cream, and I can use this even in winter. Plus, I've never had a single blemish pop up from using this BB cream. The shade is so light that the moment you apply it, you look like a ghost. There's also a slight reddish tint to it. Despite having skin so fair that everyone calls it truly white, when I apply just this BB cream, my face takes on a reddish tone. Apply a small amount, spreading it gently. It works best when applied with a puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2016
It adheres well to the skin, leaving it moisturized. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. The shade is too light for me. I usually use shade 21, but this is much paler. Also, the scent is quite... well, there's an odd smell when applying it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2016
It's wonderfully hydrating and instantly gives your skin a radiant glow If applied incorrectly, you might end up with a shockingly greasy look Be careful as your hair might stick to your cheeks, chin, or forehead. Press some powder firmly onto these areas, and if the glow seems too intense, lightly dust a bit more powder with a brush - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 1, 2016
Offers good coverage. I don't have sensitive skin, so I didn't experience any blemishes after use. The staying power is also quite good. Unlike some BB creams that settle into pores after a while, this one doesn't do that. I've tried almost all the famous BB creams, and this one stands out as the best so far. As I have oily skin, it gets quite greasy after about 6 hours. It's prone to leaving marks if you touch your face. The shade runs a bit light, probably around a 17 in Korean shades. You can get it for half price during sales events. - db*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 13, 2015
The ingredients are quite good for a BB cream and gentle on the skin! I switched from Missha's red BB cream after being shocked by its ingredients, and this one is much better. Even after wearing it for a long time, my skin didn't react negatively like it did with the Dr. Jart+ Silver Label. The scent is pleasant, with a light powdery fragrance. The shade is somewhere between 13 and 21 - a bit lighter than 21. I usually use 21, but I can make this work by adjusting the amount. It absorbs well and feels quite hydrating. I'll definitely repurchase this! It transfers easily, so be careful not to apply it on your neck area. The price might be a bit steep for students. If your skin isn't in great condition, try mixing it with a bit of moisturizer for better application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2014
* No significant darkening even after 9+ hours, and no facial burning sensation. Great for sensitive skin, possibly due to the absence of harsh chemical sunscreen ingredients. * Skin seemed to improve with use, likely thanks to beneficial ingredients like snail mucin filtrate, chamomile flower water, arbutin, adenosine, birch sap, and witch hazel water. * It's a natural pink-beige color, not grayish. * Absorbs well and feels hydrating. Seems ideal for dehydrated skin types. (While you might need to focus on moisturizing during very dry periods or harsh winters, usually there's no feeling of tightness even after 8 hours.) * Doesn't accentuate fine lines around eyes or under-eye texture. * While it absorbs well and feels hydrating, it doesn't adhere perfectly to the skin. This means it can come off easily with sweat in summer or transfer onto turtlenecks in winter. It feels like it's sitting on the skin rather than really bonding with it, so you can't let anything touch your face after application! * The color is quite light (it's labeled as #21 but when applied, it's closer to #13-21, leaning towards #13), so you need to be careful with how much you apply. * It's a bit rich, so not recommended for oily skin types. * There's no cap to cover the nozzle, which might be why it starts to feel a bit dry after about 5 months. At that point, you need to apply moisturizer first to maintain a nice skin finish all day. (I wish they'd add a cap...) * For a natural contoured look, apply this to areas where you want to brighten the skin tone, then use a #21 powder for areas you want to contour. (Since this BB cream is hydrating, hair can stick to it easily, so I highly recommend setting the cheeks to chin area with powder!) * This doesn't seem to contain built-in primer ingredients (like IOPE XP etc.), so if you usually use a primer, apply it separately before this product.
