  Pros

  Since I have a fairly thick beard, I shave in the morning before going to work, but by the evening, a dark stubble grows back. My skin gets quite damaged from shaving every day, so I apply an aftershave containing alcohol to my cotton pad to disinfect and smooth my skin, then I spread on the Kiehl's Aftershave Balm. This product has been the best among the ones I've used so far - it provides excellent moisturization, and my skin recovers better the next morning before I shave again, so the damage is significantly reduced. I now apply a generous amount of it daily.

  Cons

  Compared to other aftershave creams, the Kiehl's product is a bit thicker and less watery, so there is a slightly sticky feeling, especially in the summer. It may not be the lightest option for use in the hot summer, but if you shave frequently, I think you'll notice the benefits if you use it consistently every day.
