Although I didn't use it every day after receiving the product due to being diagnosed with contact dermatitis, I'm writing a review based on my usage over a few days. I have an amazing skin type that includes oily, atopic, sensitive, large pores, and excess sebum.;; ▪️Absorption Since it's an oil, the absorption isn't very fast. As an oily-skinned person, I used the minimum amount and patted it on the areas with a lot of dead skin or dryness. There were days when I applied the Hohooba oil and went to bed, and in the morning, my face didn't feel overly greasy. After cleansing, my face felt a little less tight. ▪️Spreadability The spreadability is good since it's an oil. For oily skin types, I think a drop or two from the dropper is enough. ▪️Moisturizing Hohooba oil is said to strengthen the skin barrier and provide hydration, but since I didn't use it consistently, I'm not sure. However, on the days I did use it and went to bed, my skin felt less tight the next day. I also tried making a Hohooba oil mist, which provided a nice sense of moisture and hydration. ▪️Acne I occasionally get acne, and I applied the oil as a spot treatment on the red acne scars, and the scars seemed to calm down a bit.
ConsThe scent is quite similar to that of grape seed oil or other edible oils. I was a bit surprised when I first noticed the smell after receiving the product. The product seems to work well for my oily skin with excess sebum production. When I apply it, I do notice some sebum coming up, and on the days I use it, I also get a few small blemishes, though not a significant amount. This is likely because the product adds more oil to my already oily skin. However, when I only apply it to the drier areas, it works well without causing issues. The amount of product is a bit small, and I wish there was more. I would prefer a larger size.
TipIf you have sensitive skin, I recommend applying a minimal amount rather than a large amount. Applying it to dry areas will definitely reduce the feeling of tightness. Be sure to apply it to dry areas!! However, since I have contact dermatitis, I tried applying it to the rash, but it was a little itchy.. Haha I recommend not applying it to severe skin rashes..

Even though I don't use oil products in the summer, I've been showering 4 times a day while going to the swimming pool, and at some point, my face started feeling tight. I could feel the dryness... Then I got the chance to try this product, and I've been applying a few drops of the skin toner and mixing it in. After using it, I no longer feel that tightness in my face~ I also use it on my hair, applying a few drops instead of essence, and I'm satisfied with how much more put-together and less frizzy my hair looks. I have permed hair, and this product doesn't make it feel unruly, but rather calms it down.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. It has a kind of bitter, medicinal smell. But since I only use a small amount, it's not too bothersome. I have to mention the downside, though...

It absorbs quickly and as it's 100% organic, I feel safe using it. It seems to work well even for oily skin.
ConsI'm not sure if the hoho ba oil normally has this scent, but it has a slight odor similar to grapeseed oil or a typical cooking oil. I had a bit of a hard time getting used to the unfamiliar scent.
