My skin is dry and sensitive. It easily gets red and dry. But I have enlarged pores... (sad) I usually don't use oils because I don't like the sticky feeling. ☆☆Application, Absorption☆☆ This was the best part for me, and I would even give it 5 stars. The oil formula is not heavy and is lightweight, so it absorbs easily and sinks in cleanly. It's not very sticky either. My oily-skinned husband said it was okay for him to use as well. In the evening, I used a mist and toner, and just applied the oil, and he said it didn't feel sticky or tight. I mixed it with a cream or rubbed it into my palms and gently patted it on. Compared to other oils, the lightweight formula was the best part!!👍👍👍 ☆☆Fragrance☆☆ The fragrance is almost non-existent. I have a sensitive nose, but I was able to use it without any issues, as the scent is at a minimal level. I think even those sensitive to smells would be able to use it comfortably. ☆☆For Sensitive Skin☆☆ As I mentioned earlier, my skin is quite sensitive, but I was able to use it without any trouble. I usually can't use cleansing oils well, and I was worried it might irritate my skin when I used it to dissolve sebum, but it was gentle. Skin types may vary, but since it's 100% jojoba oil, I think even those with sensitive skin would find it comfortable to use. ☆☆Packaging☆☆ It came in a pretty box, packaged carefully, giving a premium feel. The rubber dropper was at the right level for me to use it conveniently.
ConsThere wasn't really anything. For those who would prefer the Hohoba oil to be heavier and richer, it may not suit them. The formulation is lighter than regular oils. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything that stands out in terms of preference.
Tip1. Blackhead Sebum Removal This is the method I use the most. After a light cleansing, wipe away the moisture and take some jojoba oil, rolling it on the nose and sebum-prone areas. Gently use your fourth finger! Roll until the bumpy areas become a bit softer. When rinsing later, soak a cotton pad with cleansing water and lightly wipe it off, then work up a rich foam and rinse it off gently. It's more effective if you take a shower beforehand to soften the sebum. One session won't be enough, though. You'll need to do it consistently 2-3 times a week. I always do this on the days I take a full-body soak. Afterwards, apply an aloe vera pack on the face and do a cold compress on the neck to close the pores, then finish up. 2. Using Bathroom Moisturizer When your skin feels very dry, keep a mist in the bathroom and spritz it, then gently pat in some oil - this significantly reduces dryness. After coming out, lightly wipe with a towel and proceed with your skincare routine. If you're really lazy, you can just come out and generously apply cream and go to sleep as is.
