Don't get too hung up on the amount of foam - just go ahead and use it. It's not an intensely cleansing product, so I'd recommend doing a double cleanse or following up with a makeup remover wipe after using this one.

Since this isn't a heavily foaming cleanser, it took some getting used to when I first started using it. And coming from mostly using cleansers that left a really squeaky-clean finish, the slightly slippery feel of this one felt a bit odd at first. So I think users who are new to it may find it a bit unfamiliar until they get accustomed to it.

I don't think I've ever had any particular issues with my skin or felt like it was turning upside down while using this cleanser.

Since this product doesn't create a very abundant foam, for the first cleanse, you can just quickly cleanse with a light hand, and then for the second cleanse, you can cleanse more thoroughly. Alternatively, you can first cleanse with a micellar water and then use this product for the second, more thorough cleanse. If you use an oil-based cleanser as the first step, the foam and cleansing effect of this product may be reduced, so please keep that in mind.

This product doesn't produce an extremely rich, creamy lather. If you prefer a very dense, bubbly cleansing experience, you may find this slightly unsatisfactory.

Due to frequently changing skincare products, I developed contact dermatitis. After that, I experienced redness and a burning sensation, leaving my skin very dry, itchy, and extremely sensitive - anything I use doesn't seem to work well. Among the cleansers I use, this is the only one I've been using for over 8 years. As I tend to wear heavy eye makeup, other cleansers often leave behind eyeshadow residue, but this one completely removes everything without a trace. Some people say it doesn't remove makeup well, but compared to other drugstore products, I find this one removes makeup the best. Of course, as a foam cleanser, it does have some tightness, but among foam cleansers, this one is gentle and less drying.

I do the oil cleanse first, and then I pump some of this product into my hands with a bit of water, work up a lather, and cleanse my face. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated!

Hmm, I couldn't find this at my local Olive Young store, so I ended up having to order it through direct overseas purchase, via Coupang. Next time, I might just buy a few at a time since it's a bit hard to come by. It's really a great product, I just wish it was more widely available!

This skin has a complex combination of issues - oiliness, sensitivity, and acne-prone. I had previously switched cleansers and that seemed to be the problem, so I had to go see a dermatologist. I was really struggling.
I was browsing the Hwahae app and decided to try this product. Looking back at the other products I had used, I realized they all contained stearic acid, which was not good for my skin. This product, on the other hand, has a pretty decent ingredient list and good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot.
And it has been a lifesaver for my skin! I do a double cleanse, first with an oil and then with this product. It doesn't give me that super fluffy cotton candy-like lather, but it cleanses my skin thoroughly without leaving any tightness. I can visibly see my skin calming down. I was going through such a stressful time with my skin constantly acting up and even shocking my friends, but this product has been the hero in restoring my skin.
The product also seems to work well with my other skincare products. But this cleansing foam has been the most satisfying for me - it's hydrating and non-irritating!
I'm just going to stick to this one from now on. I don't ever want to go through that skin-flipping phase again.

I only use it to remove makeup, especially before bedtime.

Before going to work in the morning, I apply BB cream and foundation, and in the evening when I come home and wash my face, the makeup removing tissue is not needed! The makeup comes off very well.
There's no tightness or discomfort, and it's so gentle and nice.

Combination/oily/acne-prone

I've been using this product for almost 4 bottles now as it works well for my acne-prone and sensitive skin, where many other makeup removers didn't agree with me. The product is really gentle, and I was amazed that it could remove makeup from even my lips and eyes.

My eye makeup isn't all coming off... The eyeliner is still a bit left on the waterline.

There's also one made of micellar water that removes all makeup without any irritation!

Personally, I like the feeling of a thorough cleansing, but this one feels slippery and smooth. However, I got used to it after using it for a while.

The makeup comes off easier than expected~😽 Of course, eye makeup requires a dedicated remover...
