**I'm writing this review after almost finishing the entire container** I remember buying this at a discount from Olive Young, which made it quite affordable. For an impulse purchase, it turned out to be pretty good! I have combination and sensitive skin that's quite thin, so I usually can't use high-coverage products, but this one worked well for me! When first applied, it felt quite hydrating, and after some time, it became just slightly dry - but I mean very, very slightly! I'd say it was about 100% moisturizing with 20% richness and 10% dryness. It didn't cause any major blemishes either, which was great. The only thing is that the shade is a bit lighter than shade 21! (I'm mentioning this not as a drawback, but as something potential buyers should be aware of) Also, while the product itself didn't cause blemishes, since it's a high-coverage product, if you don't cleanse thoroughly, you might get breakouts the next day. As a cushion that claims to be hydrating for combination dehydrated skin, it rarely pills. However, despite being a hydrating product, it offers good coverage, which might make your skin feel ever so slightly dry. - ca*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2018
I used this cushion when I was in my first year of high school, and it really satisfied me despite my extremely dry skin. I didn't have many blemishes or redness on my face (so I'm not sure about its coverage), but I was looking for a cushion that was just really hydrating, and this one definitely was. I loved that it didn't transfer when touched. Um... I'm not very good at spotting drawbacks, so I'm not really sure... - le*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJan 17, 2018
A nostalgic cosmetic from my sophomore year in high school! Note: At the time, my skin was often described as 'baby-like' - smooth as a peeled egg. I had sensitive combination skin. While it was thin and prone to flushing from heaters or exercise, it wasn't as ultra-sensitive as it is now - I could even apply hand cream to my face without breaking out. My skin tone back then: 19-21 (in Korean foundation shades) Ingredients: Not bad → For a product I bought without checking the ingredients, I was pleased it didn't cause any blemishes. Texture: Moisturizing when applied, but dries to a matte finish. Hair didn't stick to it much. Skin appearance: Created a peachy-pink, white, baby-like complexion. Pores weren't emphasized, and it gave a beautiful, smooth finish (though it was about one shade lighter for me). Pilling: Hardly any (my skin was in good condition then, so it didn't pill much even with rough application. Occasional pilling if applied without proper skincare). Longevity: Applied at lunch, it lasted past 10 PM with minimal darkening or breakdown. Even when it did break down, it blended well with skin oils and looked fine to the naked eye. Satisfactory unless scrutinized up close or with a magnifying glass. Scent: As someone very sensitive to artificial fragrances, I found its subtle scent acceptable. If you have severe redness, it might make your skin look a bit 'piggy'. The pink undertone is quite strong, even when applied to skin without redness. (Color ratio approximately beige[1] : pink[2]) There can be some emphasis on dead skin cells (varies with skin condition, but thorough moisturizing is recommended). Exfoliate well and balance your skin's oil and moisture levels. Apply after thorough moisturizing to avoid the pilling and emphasis on flaky skin often experienced with cushion products. A good match for sensitive/combination skin types. Recommended for those with yellow undertones in their skin. Suitable for those with fair skin. Recommended if you want a smooth, peachy skin appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 23, 2017
This was my absolute holy grail during middle and high school! It was perfect for my sensitive skin. While other products would cause blemishes, this one never did. I loved its pink base too - it worked wonders for my complexion! The downside? It's been discontinued, so I can't use it anymore! Also, it was quite pricey for the amount you got. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2017
The Frozen collaboration was a stroke of genius! The package design really adds to the appeal. The included puff doesn't seem to adhere well to the skin. As time passes, the darkening effect becomes quite noticeable. - o_*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2017
The application and adherence are similar to a regular cushion foundation. Coverage is average. The best part is it's Elsaim. It was just below expectations in every aspect. The coverage is particularly disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 5, 2017
I couldn't resist the gorgeous packaging... Elsa looked so beautiful! The coverage seemed pretty decent. Despite being a light shade, it made my skin look ashy, yellow, and dark. While the coverage was good, it felt quite thick when applied. Oh no... Please don't buy this... Really... - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 7, 2016
The packaging is adorable and it's thinner than other cushions, making it incredibly portable (same size as BRCT Pam). The built-in puff is absolutely fantastic - so soft and velvety! If Peripera sold the puff from their combination dehydrated skin cushion separately, I'd buy it in a heartbeat! (It's a perfect match for hydrating formulas). I got shade 21 but used No. 1 Peach, and it's beautifully brightening, ultra-thin, and lightweight. The fresh color isn't thick at all, giving a lovely light feel. Apart from the positives I mentioned, this cushion is disappointing in every other way. The initial radiance I praised quickly turned into a dark cast as time passed - I looked like my internal organs were in severe pain. When I swapped the included puff for an A'pieu four-layer puff (which is pricey), the makeup wouldn't adhere. It seems only super absorbent puffs (that release a lot of moisture) work with this formula. So NBR puffs are a fast track to failure... If you try to spread it lightly all over and then go over your face twice, it starts to separate. Perhaps due to the high water content, it lacks the ability to hold itself together compared to other cushions. The moment you apply it to your face, it just spreads everywhere. As a result, there's 0% coverage, 0% staying power, and 0% adherence. I believe it's been discontinued, which is honestly for the best... The puff is great, so make sure to keep it and wash it until it wears out. It works wonderfully with hydrating formulas (like Guerlain/Armani). - po*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2016
Even though I have dry skin, it doesn't flake. My makeup lasts longer compared to other products. It's pretty good overall. Definitely considering repurchasing! The peach shade is too bright, and the vanilla is too dark. If only there was something in between, it would be perfect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2016
It kept my skin hydrated even in the cold winter! I enjoyed using it until the very last drop Those with oily skin should definitely remove excess oil before use
