As someone who used the Light Comforting Cream even in summer, I decided to buy this one for those really hot days when I prefer a lightweight moisturizer. Rather than saying it's disappointing, I'd say it's not recommended except for very hot summers or oily skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2016
L'Occitane products are indeed moisturizing as expected! I'm using it well The scent isn't my cup of tea... It's not exactly a fresh fragrance. I think it might be drying if used in winter - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 20, 2016
I've been using this for 3 bottles now. From elementary school to my first year of high school, I had terrible blemishes, so I tried every highly-rated moisturizer from department stores to street shops. But since I started using this, my skin has improved so much that people compliment me on it. The blemishes disappeared and my skin texture got better. It might not work for everyone, but it's perfect for my skin. I have combination dry and super sensitive skin that breaks out easily if I use the wrong product! It absorbs well without feeling sticky, and it doesn't dry out my skin either. If you dislike creams that make you too dewy but still want hydration, I recommend this. Of course, finding what works for your skin is most important... but this works so well for me that I use it year-round, both in winter and summer. I love it so much I wrote this long review - it's my holy grail cream! It's expensive... but I keep buying it because no other cream works as well for me. It's still cheaper than going to a dermatologist... The scent might be divisive. It's like a herbal, grassy scent, almost sickly greenish. I find it fragrant, but I'm not sure about others! You can smell it clearly from the bottle, but it seems to dissipate within a minute after application. I use it with the emulsion from the same line! Just these two - the emulsion and cream - are enough to keep my skin hydrated. I have combination dehydrated skin, only oily on my nose while the rest is parched! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 29, 2016
Incredibly lightweight Refreshing cucumber scent Creamy texture that doesn't pill This cream is suitable for late teens to early twenties because it lacks anti-aging properties. As I'm getting older, I need something with anti-aging benefits. Since my skin is a bit dry, after applying this, I squeeze some shea butter onto my palms, warm it up, and then gently press it onto my face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMay 22, 2016
As someone with sensitive/dry skin, I usually stuck to brands like Avène, Kiehl's, and Primera for my skincare basics. But L'Occitane turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I first tried it as a gift, and I was impressed by how gentle and effective it was. Even though it's pricey, I've been repurchasing it. I used to use Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream, but my face would tingle uncomfortably every time I applied it. Since switching to L'Occitane, this has become my go-to moisturizer. The price is... quite steep, but it's worth every penny! During the day, I just apply this cream alone. At night, I mix it with a facial oil before bed. When I wake up, my skin feels so hydrated and silky smooth! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 17, 2016
It absorbs lightly and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. While the strong scent might be polarizing for some, I find it to be a refreshingly crisp fragrance. I had been using the Shea Light Cream from the same brand, but switched to this lighter formula as the weather got warmer. Although I have somewhat sensitive skin, this product caused my face to tingle and swell up for a few days after first use. Surprisingly, it also causes deep dryness, making my skin overcompensate by producing more oil as time passes. Given that it's not particularly inexpensive, I'm quite disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 18, 2016
I tried this for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had been using Physiogel for about a year before switching to L'Occitane, and it's so much more hydrating and absorbs well. Using L'Occitane made me realize that Physiogel was a bit greasy. If you have combination skin like me, I think you'll find this works great. In the morning, my skin looks baby-soft! It seems perfect for seasonal changes. I wasn't a fan of the fragrance. But because it works so well, I'm putting up with it! As I keep using it, I'm getting more used to it. For my combination skin, it's sufficiently moisturizing, but I wonder if it might not be enough for those with dry skin. After applying, warm your hands and gently press them against your face - it helps the product absorb even better! - fn****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 24, 2015
I have combination skin. I received this as a L'Occitane point reward at the beginning of the year and started using it in May. It's really great as a spring/summer moisturizer. The hydration level is just right, and it's pleasantly lightweight. I tend to get small bumps easily, but this product doesn't cause any and keeps my skin nicely moisturized. It's a perfect match for me. I definitely plan to repurchase. It might be a bit too light for use during seasonal changes or winter. Also, it's disappointing that the quantity is quite small. - st********Normal SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessMay 17, 2015
As someone with sensitive combination-dry skin, I switched to this product from L'Occitane's Shea Butter Cream for spring and summer, based on a store associate's recommendation. Compared to the Shea Butter, this cream is lighter and packed with hydration. It absorbs well, sinking into the skin quickly. The subtle Angelica floral scent is also quite pleasant to my taste. Those with extremely dry skin might find this cream slightly insufficient. I'm also a bit skeptical about whether this cream alone would provide enough protection during cold, windy winter months. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 29, 2015
I bought this for my oily skin to use in winter, and it's great for applying makeup afterwards. Plus, my blemishes have improved a bit. The scent gives me a headache, and if you apply too much, it pills. Rather than helping with acne, it leaves behind some small bumps.
